POST ORIFICE or WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU!

IT'S GONNA BE ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

On my way back from the mailbox I went to get the Trash Bin to take back to Su Casa! There is a Water Meter Flag--the Blue Post stuck in the ground. This is about 150 yards down a small dirt road--(Yes, past the pond-lol) to the house. In the past Fed Ex has ALWAYS delivered to the door!

I happened to look at it and saw the following taped to this Water Meter Marker!!

Water Meters and Blue Flag Stick @ End of Main Dirt Road
I noticed a New Paper taped to the Flag!
And wives say Husbands never can find anything even if's it's right under their Noses!

New Landowner Marked his Territory! OK--WE get it!!!

Coming back from mailbox- it's now a HARD Right Turn, onto our House's Road! I agree, it's a hard turn....especially in a Fed Ex sized truck- but they've done it many many times---why not this one?

FED EX- DOOR TAG!!!  Yep--left right on someone's door. No name, date, address on Tag!!!
But, they were sorry they missed --well......Someone! Somewhere!
I think I may have had something coming to make matters worse.

At Least I can still read the 800 Number!

SO WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR ME----?????

TAKE OVER FED EX'S DELIVERY TO THE BOONDOCKS!

I Know HE saw something! But I couldn't get squat outta him! This is a New Spring Baby Grey Squirrel and it did not even know to be afraid of me yet! We had the BEST time playing!!!! He is plenty far enough away from house to be a bother! I'll probably start feeding him!

-WONDER WHAT THEIR FOOD PYRAMID LOOKS LIKE?-

STOP RIGHT HERE BUSH! NATURES BARBED WIRE FENCE.
What- you thought MAN invented that?

CROSS MY HEART! THIS WILL MAKE YOU STOP DEAD IN YOUR TRACKS!

The Angry "M" Ranch

My Spidy Senses are tingling! He has some Spring Cleaning to do!

Yellow Bellied Blackberries? We need rain desperately!

I never noticed the Yellow on the leaves before! It pays to stop and get close!

The Brand New GREEN Blackberry-Next, RED- then BLACK, then: STOMACH!

That's one Dandy Lion! Ewwwww!

I LOVE LIGHT! IT'S SO HARD TO CATCH SOMETIMES, IN THIS FORM!!!!
You see it, and  "snap"--but it's NOT there!

I NEED A RAINBOW FIX!!!!! A TRIPLE!
They are rare, but seen them I have!

Angry Skies to our West! We could be in for some Nasty Boomers that hit the Kentucky Derby today!!

This was one of the absolute best walks this Spring--Everything seemed to be coming to life. Bird's were out by the Flock's, Squirrels, Flowers', Fed Ex-(Not so Much), New Briar's, New Berries, awesome Clouds building..........the Earth was just ALIVE today! And it was Hot and Humid, and is supposed to be in the low 90's and high humidity tomorrow!

It always seems that Nature's Creatures seem to know to get busy before a bad storm front moves in!

SIGH...... I may just take tomorrow off! Have a Blessed Sunday all!

Love blackberries - they're pretty expensive here.

  3. I live on the third floor, so Fed Ex won't deliver. They leave my packages in the office and I don't even get a notice. Brown will, though.

  4. Carmen & Jeannie: ,

What awesome compliments. Thank you very much.

The main thing I do is just walk, stop and look. It takes a while, but I believe, "God is in the Details"- and when I "used" to hunt, I trained my eyes to see any and every little movement. So I think that really helped.

I also try not to limit myself to regular angles. I lay down, squat, sit, roll over LOL, and that helps. I hold the camera at weird angles, but basically I just LOOK!

But I really believe the main thing is that I am not rushed! If I'm going to be rushed I just leave the camera inside.

It's all about Perspective and that can make just a regular snapshot, "Seem" very different, but most times it's just lucky! I try to think Composition, but sometimes it's just the sheer number of pics I take.

I have a warped sense of humour, and sometimes that bleeds over into the pics!

I really think it's because I snap, snap , snap away..it takes a lot to get only a few good shots.

I bought an Inexpensive Samsung 6.0 Megapix Camera, (about 85.00 bucks) and it just has the standard lens. Zoom 5.8-17.4 mm Lens with 3x Optical Zoom. I want a much stronger Zoom or a Good Telephoto Lens.

I also Love Macro (as if you can't tell) LOL! But for what I do--this Samsung has been awesome. I don't do anything but post on here, so it's not like I really need professional grade equipment.

Since I've been forced into early retirement, I may take a course or two at the local Community College, but I'm not sure if I want to drop the $$$. I'd rather just spend it on the equipment and learn the hard way like I do everything else. Trial and error.

I really really could use some help with Photoshop, as I know nothing about layers, or anything beyond the basics of what those programs can do. I think it's the pic itself anyway!

I am going to get a nicer 10-12 mega Pic Nikon or Cannon with a Macro lens as well as a Nice Zoom or Telephoto lens. I just wanted to try before I spent much on going from Film to Digital, and I've used this same one for 3 years now!.

I may buy a Book on Digital Photography and study up a little and do some Internet research for what I like to shoot and go from there, to see how much I need to spend on a Camera and accessories.

I'm sure that's much more than you wanted to know- but I really really appreciate those kind words!

If anyone has any suggestions--I'm open!!

I need to organize and put all these I have on Picasa and several other sites, into albums- so people can go and look, and use any they want. But I have a ton of editing to do, just getting the junk pics off! I also need to work on putting a Watermark on them, not that anyone would steal them--and anyone can use any of them as long as they ask.

    Thanks again!

    John

    JEN,

They won't even come up 3 flights of stairs! I thought that was there freakin' job!!

    Weird!

Say--you do a lot of travel--do you have any Photography hints etc, for someone wanting to change into a little bit better equipment and learn more about Digital Photography??
