I REALLY LIKE THE WORDS TO THE REDONE BOB DYLAN SONG: FOREVER YOUNG!

AS A TRIBUTE TO ALL OF US!

LET'S STAY
"FOREVER YOUNG"

Turn it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (& Jam - or not!)

May the good Lord be with you
Down every road that you roam
And may sunshine and happiness
Surround you when you're far from home
And may you grow to be proud, dignified and true
And do unto others as you'd have done to you

Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart you'll always stay
Forever young, forever young
Forever young, forever young

May good fortune be with you
May your guiding light be strong
Build a stairway to Heaven
With a prince or a vagabond

And may you never love in vain
And in my heart you will remain
Forever young, forever young
Forever young, forever young
Forever young, forever young, yeah

And when you finally fly away
I'll be hoping that I served you well
For all the wisdom of a lifetime
No one can ever tell

But whatever road you choose
I'm right behind you, win or lose
Forever young, forever young
Forever young, forever young
Forever young, forever young
For, forever young, forever young

  3. Awww, John, you make me blush!

Today is our voting day for a new Prime Minister, so I have been busy ferrying people back and forth to Polling Stations all day. Living in such a small community, and people living so far apart can be a pain, especially since there is only Public Transport once an hour!
So, until 10:00 p.m. (out time) I'm pretty busy.
How did I get into this?
Have you ever been roped into doing something and wondered "How did that happen?"?

  4. Alice,

Just today I made 2 - TWO, commitments for next week. To volunteer free medical care on Monday in an outlying county, and to go to a Seminar on Delivery of Free Healthcare at Local College- on Friday of the same week.

Well, I think we are both showing our Serving Spirits if nothing else. And I have a feeling we will feel fulfilled after we've done it!

Did I use FEEL & FILLED enough- LOL! This will definitely help me get out and about and help with a sense of Purpose again, as well as engage the Ol' Brain, and give back out of so much I have received over all these years!

    VBHFATP,

    Thanks for a great friendship!

  8. Christiejolu,

To use a worn out phrase form Idol--she could sing the phone book and I'd like it! Powerful influence on this country and music!

    Thanks!

  11. I was just telling my partner that the thing that keeps us young is a passion in life, our family, love, friendship ---all the things that are absolutely PRICELESS.

    Beautiful post! :)

  12. Deb,

Welcome over! I loved your blog- and it seems that we are all Talking, writing, Blogging about the same general topic. This doesn't surprise me as God keeps dropping things "in" to a general population or group of people that are connected.

Whether we admit to God, or a Higher Power--whatever people are comfortable calling Him/Her- I certainly don't push my beliefs- but it is neat to see such a common thread!.

We even used the Word "Connectivity" recently and I wanted to do a post on that!

I am so happy that it touched you in this way!!! PRICELESS is an excellent term! And PASSION is MANDATORY for Youth- I Think!!!-LOL!!!!I know it helps!

Thank you so much for the compliment!

You are always welcome to Full-ON!

  15. I like the Joan Baez version. The classic Rod Stewart is Maggie Mae, IMHO
