GIVING MYSELF A PAT ON THE BACK--AND I GOT AN AWARD!!!

Our family is truly a Loving and Giving one! I've just now made 10 new friends, that have mostly received this award. No- this is not my pat on the back--we'll get to that in a sec.

First, because I've just recently acquired more than 10-  I'm going to pass this to Two- SPECIAL FRIENDS that have been with me through thick and thin! I could seriously give this to everyone in my sidebar- as they are all deserving of it!

However:

ILY-- My LIL FREN has stood by my side through thick and thin, as well as

JEANNIE-- Just Me- My 2 CENTS has also been there from the beginning!

At a time when I was ready to throw in the Post- years back- these two represented what Loyalty and Friendship are all about! I now have that with several more Close Blogging Friends, and am developing that with every one I follow. I truly don't follow, just because!! Each of you have something very unique and special, and contribute to my life!

Thanks to you all!!!!!!!

Post the Award you two- WITH PRIDE!!!!!!  I LOVE YA BOTH!

What...
is it doing.....
in the WOODS (TIGER) by my house? I find these all the time!

That's why I have that Plantar Full of these! Who plays Golf in the Woods? On Purpose?
I'LL PROVE IT! 9 YEARS WORTH OF BALLS!
I DON'T PLAY GOLF!

And then there's this to contend with---------
Seriously--DON'T ASK ME- ASK GOD! IT WAS JUST THERE SO I TOOK IT!

WELL?- name that thingy!!!!

And now for the Pat on the back award. I ordered a keyboard for my Wife's laptop. Got it in...removed the Old one...Installed the New one, all by myself! I saved a butt load of money.

GEEK SQUAD MY HINEY!!!  ESTIMATE--Bring it in, and we'll keep it for 4-6 WEEKS!!!!!

Can't really give you an estimate until we know what's wrong with it.

IT'S BROKEN: DUMBA**ES, THAT'S WHATS WRONG WITH IT, IT WON'T TYPE!!

Keyboard & shipping- NEW- not refurbished--$32.15, & I had it in 4 days!

Bypassing Geek Squad- 6 weeks time, and possibly Hundreds of dollars--well- you never know!
SELF GRATIFICATION & ADORATION FROM WIFE:

PRICELESS!!!!

This may not sound like much--but I'm ambidextrous- I CAN'T USE EITHER Hand!

Give me a scalpel and I'm Golden....Most tools---- No Problem.....but Computer Piecy parts, that I've never seen before....Not so Much.

But It was Literally a Piece of Cake! It took exactly 8 minutes, and it is working perfectly!

So- an award, a renewed Laptop, 4 movies to watch, a hot weekend coming up (temperature wise) with NO PLANS....my goodness, what more could a man ask for!

(And realistically EXPECT to get) after 27- almost 28 years of marriage! LOL!

LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Baby, can you try and fix my laptop tonight?

DAMMIT, NOW??????,  "Absolutely Sweeeti!"

"Did you fix it yet?"
IT'S BEEN 5 MINUTES GIMME A BREAK,    "Almost done punkin'"!

"How about now?"

OMG That gun is close by,  "Yes, baby, I'm done!"

"What did you have to do to it?

HE HE HE!!!! here we go!!!!

Well first I had to obtain a Phillips, Left Handed thread rotationally angled aluminum alloy,
I got a Phillips Screwdriver and took out two screws!

Then I disconnected the top plate, disengaged the cable from the Motherboard, unhinged the banter coupling, and reinstalled the Circuit Switch modulator!
I took out two screws, pried up the keyboard without breaking it and got lucky an connected the new one in 2 minutes, without knowing what I was doing!

Oh, my hero!
"What the hell took you so long-we've had the keyboard for a week now!"

No problem Sweeti, glad I could be of service!
Now leave me alone so I can finish watching this Japanese movie called Cadaver! It only got one star so it has to be awesome!!!!

AIN'T LOVE GRAND! AND HONEST  !!!!!!

She truly is an awesome lady! No strikeouts or snide comments on this one!!!!!

    Pat,

    1. Thanks very much!
    2. I truly had FUN with this story!
    &

As near as I can tell it was some sort of Pupae, that was initially on the limb. After such an extreme amount of Rainfall- (This area is usually high and dry)--the Pine Pollenator thingys--I don't mean to get all scientific on you but some things just have to be called what they are--it looks like there are 3 of them--Got caught in the silk, or a Spider web...and this is the outcome. I really do want to see if anything comes out of it!

    PUPAE:
    Date: 1815

: an intermediate usually quiescent stage of a metamorphic insect (as a bee, moth, or beetle) that occurs between the larva and the imago, is usually enclosed in a cocoon or protective covering, and undergoes internal changes by which larval structures are replaced by those typical of the imago.

Stuff hangs out, changes and emerges!

But really- I think it's ALL pollen realted Pine stuff clumped up in a tough Spider web!

BUT WE MUST HAVE A NAME FOR PAT!!! & Myself!:

C'mon Gang: u can do it! Name that Thingy!!!

  4. Congratulations on the award and fixing the laptop (a hero today but what would happen if it didn't work...) As for that thingy, it's a branch of a pine tree?

  5. Thanks John - you are a sweetheart!
(and we don't have to do anything for it?)

The golf ball thing is a total mystery. Maybe there's a bird who sees them on golf courses and thinks they're eggs, brings them home to the nest but when they don't hatch, toss them for you to pick up. Or maybe thinks they're food and when they aren't, toss them.

The unknown looks like birch catkins stuck to the thingy with spider web or swamp goo or dead leaves or whatever.

  6. Loved this John, and I think that it is a catkin on that branch, I also agree with Jeannie on the golf balls.

I'm so pleased that I got you to meet other people....and other people to meet you too!

    Jeannie,

    Not one single string attached!

    TRUST ME!! he he,

I agree about the Balls, but I wanted Tiger Woods lurking around my house--(for extortion purposes only!)

    Great stuff girl!

Dee why I love this lady!

    J

    Alice,

The one who started it all again! Thanks so much for the Jump Start! I really appreciate you, and you had me at your first poem!

So another Bird hiding the Golf ball advocate huh...you guys talkin' to my wife?
    LOL.

    Thanks Dear Alice, Deep Bow!

    VBHFATP,

    J

Rawkn... now that's what I'm talking about--I don't know that I would have ever found you as a friend, were it not for Alice. This is gonna be fun!!!!

    Hang on!!!!

    John

    Deb,

I feel the same way- and I meant it when I said I just don't tag along for the heck of it--There is always something of substance to each blog I follow! Otherwise- why bother!

It's like a Giant Social Dysfunctional Family isn't it? NOT that I picked you to say that about- LOL...but we all have more in common as people than we usually admit. We want to point out the differences instead of our GOOD STUFF!

    John

cris- She is one in a million---truly, she has no feet! Just kidding! We are all the cliches you hear about in marriages--and relationships--but it also takes 2-2, TWO- people willing to work at it!

    Thanks Young Lady!

    J

    Jen,

The blight of SPRING- the World over! Do the Antihistamines knock you for a loop or have you found one that works-(sans sleep for 14 hrs??)

Hey, check it out, and let me know if Pollen Glows in the dark. I heard Cat Urine does from those Glowsticks--seriously--like a pseudo black-light. So if you shine it around the house and you find "Glowy spots"- that smell funky---time to have a talk with Faith!!!!

    I'm not sayin.....

Did i see that you had joined a new Hiking/Backpacking Club--(Hence the Glowstick?)
