SNOW & ICE
TWICE IN SEVERAL WEEKS!
WE RECEIVED 5 INCHES OF SNOW IN THE MIDLANDS OF SC. THERE WERE 120 ACCIDENTS THIS AM.
DUMBUTTS!
DUMBUTTS!
OF COURSE MANY OF THOSE WERE "ESSENTIAL" REDNECKS WHO HAD TO GET OUT!!! PEOPLE THAT HAD TO GET IN TO WORK.
LIKE HOSPITAL WORKERS- WHO ARE NOW PATIENTS FOR THE LAST TIRED SHIFT TO STAY AND TAKE CARE OF: OR THEY RESTING COMFORTABLY AT HOME!

THE BEGINNING--MIDNIGHT MONDAY: 12:31 AM
What I've been told all my life never to eat!!!
HEY-SHE HAD TO GO OUT! Or either DURFEE visited me overnight! (Inside joke--errr, OK, it better be an Outside Joke! Poet or not--Don't pee in my house and put it in a book! :-)
Greenhouse- During the Fall.
WHO I WANT TO BE!!! THIS IS DOC.
A LEGEND OF THE FALL!!!
We actually haven't had so much snow this year. London - an hour away - got dumped on a few times but ours has been manageable. What you've got there wouldn't have us all excited for sure - but when you aren't prepared...esp for driving or your tires aren't made for it, it's a different story.
ReplyDeleteIf we had even that little bit of snow here, we'd have 100 times that many accidents. thanks for the crackerjack weather report!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see your cat was so upset by the whole thing... I can almost hear your cat snoring!
Erm.... Snow..... I like.
ReplyDeleteYou know...we lived in Minnesota until I was six, and one of the first things I learned was not to eat the yellow snow.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good thing to be told, because before that, I assumed it was just another flavor of snow. Luckily I never tried it!
Brrr, stay safe and warm, dear friend.
ReplyDeletePS Avoid the brown snow too. Ugh. Sorry.
Big hugs,
xoRobyn
Jeannie--we dodged a major bullet with the freezing rain that never really developed after the snow!!
ReplyDeleteJ
Pat-- I wanna be a Cat- sooo Bad! LOL!
J
Shadowthorne! Hiya! Glad to see you!
It is going to be in thew 20's and Teens--this is a record winter for SC!
J
RK--It tastes like....Chicken!
J
robyn---Yep--there was that too! But it was easily recognizable! LOL!!!
Hugs,
John
:-P Dude you in one storm have had more snow than we have had all winter.
ReplyDeleteThere is a secret to that. Buy a new mega size snow blower and the snow goes somewhere else. you may use it once or twice but for the most part the snow doesn't like being thrown once it has fallen.
Besides there isn't any climate change here the snow is just going where it belongs, the sun belt!
Doc knows how to live.

p.s. Cloudia's book was fun to read and taught me a lot. Glad you read it as well!
TWM-- I'll trade you my Leaf Blower for a Snow Blower! LOL.

Pearl: Doc has got it Made!! And I agree- Cloudia's insight is/was phenomenal!
Have a great week!

I love pictures of the snow! I woke up to about a foot here in NY today. They did a good job plowing, but I need to leave for work now and I'm dreading it. I so want to be my dog (or your cat) right now. Very funny!
ReplyDeleteClimb! It is beautiful and now is completely ICE!!!! It's ccccold!
ReplyDeleteBe careful!!!
John
