I would love to experience a fishing trip...maybe not one in extreme heat but just do it for once in my life (although I'd prefer white water rafting, as you know).
ReplyDeleteHope things are cooling off for you, my friend!
PS - I added you to my blogroll and I hope you don't mind. I just realized you and Jeannie weren't on it...so you're both in unless you want out. :)
ARE YOU KIDDIN ME---I THOUGHT YOU WERE MAD AT ME!!! I'M IN!!!
ReplyDeleteCaps lock--snicker.......
ILY, fishing is awesome..it truly is, and is far cheaper than a Psych couch!
White Water rafting is a fav of mine too!!
House is freezing, and it has NEVER been cool in these temps!! What a blessing the breakdown was...really made us appreciate things!
I'd go with you but I'd mess up your fishing floating around the boat on my floating lounger singing badly and drinking mucho tequila.
ReplyDeleteWith that heat it sounds like you better be in the water instead of fishing...
ReplyDeleteJeannie--- You MUST come along!!!! LOL--Fishing is always an excuse to float and drink! Esp- TEQUILA- the get nekkid, and run around and not remember anything drink!!
ReplyDeleteOnly with these temps--Alcohol can get ya in trouble!

:-)
Pat,
Amen to that--we will be careful though. If it's too hot we've already decided to head in early.

Ah, you are going to have SO MUCH FUN! Fishing is one of those things I love to do, but never have time for.
ReplyDeleteSomeday, though, watch out!
I love the locust pictures...because, you see, I am partial to bugs and birds. Grasshoppers are my favorite insect, always have been ever since I was a kid.
Always loved fishing myself, enjoy your day my Friend
ReplyDeleteI could retrieve cold beers from the cooler.
ReplyDeleteStay in the shade and fish deep!
ReplyDeleteJoe-- Kindred Spirits we are!!! I love them too! Thanks very much!

BD-- will troll late in evening and with movement, will help a little--then will anchor and fish in 20-60 feet deep holes, where Fish (Mainly Stripers) will be in this heat, or secondly- some big Catfish!!
Good call!
