  6. TWM- That was Powerful- I loved FRUITOFF HEAVYHAND- That's what we called him in College! !968 we had two- 2 African American students come to our all white school. You talk about class and guuts- these two gentleman had both, and this was in Fl. They became great friends! We integrated totally in 1970, and two football teams- merged together and brought the school together. I had to fight one Black football player--He PUSHED it- but it was for all the marbles. I had never fought in my life--but I won.

We Settled it with a handshake after the fight at the athletic field...ALL of both teams.... and went 8-3 the next two years!! Great friends and no Guns or riots!

It was our own: Remember the Titans", as told to me by a year ago by a friend who reminded me of it. I honestly had forgotten it, and never thought of it as that big of a deal. I guess to others it was.

The coolest pic I have of my High School Football days- are the Gentleman I fought and Myself kneeling on the sidelines while the defense was on the field, with our helmets off talking together!!!
