MY I-PAD & MAGPIE LINKY LOVE

MINE WAS PRETTY CHEAP (PEN NOT INCLUDED)

MAGPIE- Click to Link

THE MAGPIE PROTECTED THE OLD GHOST TOWN. NEAR AN INDIAN (SHAWNEE, I THINK) MESA IN ARIZONA, RESEMBLING A SKULL FROM AERIAL SHOTS, THE INDIANS CARVED CAT TOTEMS ALL AROUND THE MESA. THE MAGPIE, SOME REFER TO AS A HARBINGER OF DEATH IS EVER PRESENT IN THE GHOST TOWN.

BECAUSE LEGEND HAS IT THAT ONCE THE LAST CAT TOTEM HAD FALLEN--DEATH WAS RELEASED IN POWER AND ENERGY FROM THE MESA and is present still-energy forever trapped--or is it? some say it is a direct link- or PORTAL to HELL!!

AND PORTALS USUALLY GO BOTH WAYS!

Quoth the Magpie--nevermore, OK--maybe once!

Taken from an episode of Ghost Adventurers.

  5. Well that was different! I especially like your eye pad! I know it was Poe's Raven, "quoth the Raven Nevermore!" Is a magpie a raven? Actually I looked over several of your posts and they are all different! :)

  8. LuLu-- my Espanol is muy malo- I would have to cheat and use the translator--but you know--I need to practice and learn Spanish! That would be fun, but I know about 20 words/phrases, and can do a Medical History..but that's all I remember.. I can read it much better than write it. Is that normal? Also I was told I speak it very well as I can actually roll my AURA'S LOL!

    Juanny

Pat-- I am a little "different"! I can't draw, sing, or write..so I do weird stuff on my Blog. There is a purpose to my madness though!

Thanks for visiting!! You are always welcome here!

    God Bless,

    John

PS: I don't think think a Magpie and Raven are the same Bird. after I looked on WIKED pedia, (which isn't that great a research tool...according to one of my Profs concerning research papers. We weren't even allowed to use it as a resource!) even though the show insinuated they were. Thanks for the correction!
Don't Magpies collect shiny things to attract a mate?

kathryn, I did drop it and it deleted a whole article on one piece of paper-but still worked! I just don't know how to back up my writings! Hmmmm- I'll have to work on that!

    Hugs from SC,

    J

  9. RAVEN- As a carrion bird, ravens became associated with the dead and with lost souls. In Sweden they are known as the ghosts of murdered persons, and in Germany as the souls of the damned.[1]Wikipedia

  11. I do like your low-cost iPad.
The crow family . . CORVIDAE . . . comprises crows, ravens, rooks, jackdaws, jays, magpies, treepies, choughs and nutcrackers.
Depending on your country of origin "crows" and "rooks" are the same bird under different names. In UK the commonest are crows, magpies and (though fewer) ravens. Choughs are now very few.

  15. Reflections--Thanks and welcome--Order now for delivery by Christmas!

    Merry Christmas

    John

Doc-- THANK YOU very much. I thought the may be related but Wiked Pedia didn't show the same family...but there were like you said, many Countries of Origin!

    Welcome and Thanks!

    John

Jeannie- I know- I bought it for you LAST Christmas- Oh how soon they forget!
The show is one of those Paranormal shows where all they do is catch "VOICES" and try to piss off spirits! This one is Ghost Adventurers and is a little dark. It featured an Old Ghost Town that was said to be haunted by a mean evil spirit that died there. Records show he didn't- so now they are blaming this Indian Mesa in Arizona--as a Portal, and the Totems let the Spirits out!

Must be a bunch of Ravens around as they were mentioned and showed perching!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! Scary huh? However- I don't like to rile up or play with anything Evil, Demonic, Satanic as I think you are asking for trouble. I'm not going to watch that show anymore- (probably!)

It's like Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, there are several of them.

So, see- You didn't miss a thing!
