  2. LOL! I knew I'd get that!!

We were at work and a child came in with Worms...our Nurse Manager said. "Well, at least he can go fishing", one very funny RN- said, "Yeah, but I'll bet all he will catch is Crappie!".

    Ohh Urgent Care humor!

There are many names, Speckled Perch in Fla, also known as Paper Mouths, since there mouths tear really easily, and several others. They are probably the absolute BEST eating of all the "Pan Fish": species! which is what I called them. I came to SC and someone asked me if I wanted to go Crappie fishing---of course my reply was, NO, I'd rather have fun!

They will be in the Pan tonight with Hush-puppies, New Potatoes, and a Salad!

  4. cris,

They are filled, nothing but meat, no bones. They are in the fridge, and will NOT be forzen- so that is about as fresh as you can get!

Yes, ma'am, we will eat them with Hush-puppies, New red Mashed potatoes, and a Salad..Probably tomorrow night because I'm out of Peanut oil (healthy) and a few TOP Secret ingredients.

I think I'm going to do a post on Survival, and the outdoors, as it relates to a possible 2012 scenario! Like being able to provide for the family.

Thanks so much for kinda nudging me in that direction!
