A little humor before this news:

A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we're seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value
evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!

BIBLE STUDY- I'm going to do a brief Bible Study on Shhhhh....God's Talking
on the Spiritual Armor of God from Ephesians. This will be very brief bite sized snippets so if your interested head on over- or let someone you know that may want to have a very quick read and devotional to start the week. I've been neglecting this and things are going so well right now I want to give a little back to God in this small way!

  1. I love the video! Will show my sun. :)

    Interesting facts, although you know they blame it on the administration.

  2. P.S. if you have a chance, go over to WhiteCoat rants (on my blogroll)and check out his idea for feeding his gamily while waiting for MDCR reimbursements. Too funny! :)

  3. Great video. Yep Congress has what and 11% confidence rating?

    I say we start using congress critters as an alternative fuel.

  4. I'll have to check out the other site at a later date. Running really late now. Just letting you know I swung in.
