SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY 2

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY 2

The Dragonfly below was the subject before I joined the Original Shadow Shot Sunday. Then I posted it after I joined for the Shadow in the second shot....

Now look at the second shot of this magical shadow log- "Embiggen it" if you can
and look in the shadow for the hidden Frog!

Original shot ........  Can you see the mystery guest beginning to appear in the shadows?

Now he is more visible, and I never saw him until I downloaded the pic!! SURPRISE!

Can you find the Chameleon--or is it merely a shadowy figure?

Proof he exists.....

Glassy Pond Shadow--this guy is a Camera hog!

How old am I said the Real leaf? Let me count the rings! Ahh- but how old am I in shadow years?

Sorry I could not post just one, but these are re-posts of some I did for the original Shadow Shot Sunday. I let it steep for two days due to the Saturday post Down Under. Hope you enjoy!

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK.

LOVE YOU ALL!

  1. How old are you in shadow years? How about way back when there was no light and only darkness covered the face of the earth? :)

  5. An interesting collection of shots. Just a slight shift of position and the chameleon comes clearly into view. In the first shot I would have missed those little feet if you hadn't clued us in.

  9. The reptile waits in the shadows for dinner - however the dragonfly just knows the frog and himself will not dins together - the four-winged insect would be in the stratosphere in a second, so don't even try...

The reptile in the trees is visible in B&W, although in color, the form would be less of itself more blended. It is nice to capture the least of beings and give them their due...nice!

  11. This post was fun to read and puzzle over, John!

I didn't see the frog, but I did see the chameleon.

The dragonfly is either a camera hog or a camera bug. ;-)

Have a fun week shadow seeking!!

  13. John you crazy guy : )
I actually saw mr. Frog before I "embiggened" him (that is too funny a word and I have a silly big grin on my face even when I type it !) ..
You have wonderful shots here .. I so love dragonflies (can you send some up here to help me out in the summer when the nasty bugs start up with me?) haha
It is fascinating watching them fly and settle on some object .. I have a couple of good shots from past years that I am proud of : )
Hey posting multiples are perfect for you because I know you must have a hard time not sharing with us ! wink wink !

  14. Wow! What a great surprise! I had to look a few times before I could see him! Nice hiding place to ambush an unsuspecting dragonfly. As you can see, I, too, am not prone to just post one shot. Many of us do multiples. Have a great weekend!
