This is part and parcel of my journey through life, as seen through my eyes, heart and mind. Scary I know!!- Hopefully this Blog will allow us to Learn & LAUGH, as well as to THINK and QUESTION: Who we are, Where we are heading and Who we are becoming- Join in on my journey?....... Or Not!
GOD BLESS AMERICA; AMERICA, BLESS GOD!
See, in that first of the you and tree make three, you look like some sort of twisted Valkyrie with an avant garde cactusy(or aloe-y?) magic crystal/earth ball.
And where I came up with that strange interpretation I really do not even CARE to know! On the fly, but had to look, and once I looked, I simply began to laugh.
Good to be in a new family... sort of... these families seem to be all sorts of overlapping, which is also wonderful.
Wowee, what a lovely forest! And I like your dance :) Your link on the SSS2 site seems to be missing an m at the end of .com - maybe repost it? I don't have access to the linky tool :( Have a wonderful week!
Adore your shadow dances! (Still chuckling!) Can't believe someone else thought of the Valkyrie idea! That was my first thought too! No idea why! Perhaps the spindly effect - not meaning to suggest that you are spindly - but the shadow implies something a little Gothic and witchified! Terrific photos!
Oh, how fun! These shadow shots really made my afternoon on this gray, northwest day! Nothing better than dancing with the trees! I love it, John! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy -- with the trees or without them!!
That jet shot is pretty much outta the park as they say! Like you could almost touch it! Love the tango wit the trees too. Methinks you're having too much fun. Alone. But, all the better, eh?
Sylvia-- Thanks so much--it is freezing here in SC only because the winds are gusting to 32 mph! But a big pot of Chili took care of that!
Thanks again,
J
Paula-- Thanks--I did get a Good shot on the Jet, Lucky with the Sky and where the Sun was!. My wife won't walk with me anymore!!! She just shakes her head when I head out with the camera!
The top shadow is amazing - it is as if the tree is cradling that yucca plant in its limb...nice look at the shadowy forest. The airplane appears to be landing nearby - let's hope that the serenity of the woods is not disrupted...
John you are so creative and crazy ! I love that : ) Yes the tree and thee make quite the creature indeed ! .. I love that patch of forest .. to kick up the needles and smell the earth .. would be wonderful .. we are in snow mode here finally .. god .. I hope the full on winter isn't starting now ??? Your first shot if awesome. It has to be my favorite for this week. After that would come the Jet Blue plane. That shot is out of this world. A fine contribution this week. benie
