There are a lot of things about good attitudes, the power of positive thinking, you reap what you sow...etc.. I also believe there are a lot of negative forces and negative energy that would want to rob me of my BLESSINGS. Well, I believe more strongly in the all things are possible with my God, category than I do in the negative....... and I choose to have a Prosperous, Bountiful, Beautiful, Healthy, Awesome Year.

Because of that, I want no negative vibes sent my way. I want positive uplifting posts and friends. I will face many trials and tribulations in 2009 without inviting anymore in in negative people! I just choose by my own free will to handle them in a positive manner, a manner that fosters healthy, mature growth. I can't control all the negative things that come at me. But those that I can I will. Starting with thoughts.

Really Yours...........ONLY WHEN YOU KEEP IT, DWELL ON IT, LET IT LINGER, ENTERTAIN IT LONGER THAN YOU SHOULD, LISTEN TO THE GAGGLE GROUP, RUMOR MILL, NIGHTLY NEWS WITH DOOM AND GLOOM FORECASTS, WHY WE ARE VIRTUALLY BOMBARDED 24-7, WITH NEGATIVES. THEN WE ARE TOLD WE HAVE A PILL FOR THAT, DURING THE SAME BROADCAST! IT MAY CAUSE, BLOATING, BLURRED VISION,GREASY FOUL SMELLING FARTS, HEMORRHAGING, ASS WARTS, STROKES, HEART ATTACKS OR DEATH....

BUT IT WILL CURE THAT DEPRESSION YOU JUST GOT IN BECAUSE OF THE STATE OF THE WORLD, AND YOUR ANGST, AND WORRY, OVER THINGS, YOU CAN........CONTROL...NOT!!!!!!!! AND WE BUY INTO THAT RAT RACE BILL OF PROPAGANDA AND GOODS AND LIFESTYLE. ME TOO. BUT NOT IN 2009.

I prune the dead off me right now. That includes attitudes, relatives, cosmic farts, anything that is NEGATIVE; I choose to concentrate on the Positive's and the benefits provided thereof. The Fruit of the Spirit we mentioned awhile back from Galatians. I prune deep, where the cuts hurt. I prune to the Masters guiding touch. "CUT HERE", and "HERE". "BUT LORD, CERTAINLY THAT'S NOT A NEGATIVE!"........."yessir". lop......BLEED. His will be done, not mine, and if I prune exactly when and where He directs; I will not ; nay I CAN NOT be denied the FRUITS of that labor, as I tend my Soul Garden all year long, becaue He said it and He never lies! Read it. It's in His Book! Pretty good read too. Don't understand it? COP OUT! Get one you can understand to start with and work up. Go to class where they teach you about it. It's called Church.

Oh, but that's where the hypocrites go. Riiiiight, and they should keep you out because of their negative CONTROL of your life. Who else you want to turn over control to? Hollywood? The Government? My Blog? But then we'ed have to think critically and make informed decisions on our own. On stuff we actually looked up and verified as the truth and didn't blindly believe it beacause we are too fat assed as a Nation to do our homework. The rest of the world has, and have flown right by us. I'm positive of that. WOW_ Negative soapbox rant.....need to work on my positives, and harmony and fung schway.....I stepped in some of that the other day, and my feet were in perfect alignment all week!

No, I don't have my head in the sand and I'm not in denial (Big River in Egypt), I understand the economy, Israel and Palestine, the layoffs, cutbacks and frankly hard times! They affect me, and they affect me very deeply. So much so that I want to run to the source that I believe can alleviate so much of our suffering, and negativity right now.....if we just turn back to Him on our knees and say...I'm sorry Dad. We as a country, we're sorry! We missed it! Do you still love us?

WHATEVER IT IS IN YOUR LIFE THAT'S NOT POSITIVE

Does anyone feel like I do when I by a fairly big ticket item(s) and then guilt yourself to death over buying them and ruin any joy you may have had HOWEVER BRIEF? Or laugh your butt off at how you can justify just about anything in the world. "But Honey, that Bass Boat will allow us to spend endless hours together in the solitude of the lake that God made just for you and I?" "But Baby, the Space Shuttle goes with the mailbox/NASA theme!"

Well we didn't get a Bass Boat (but our dream is to one day have a Pontoon!!! We love to sleep out on the lake and Striper fish together. It's not often when your fishing buddy is your wife, But I love it!).

But I digress. We are debt free, have no credit cards and I only owe on my school loans. Cash is king at the crash! So I bought my wife a laptop, so she can sit on the bed and do her thing since her neck surgery limits her time of sitting upright. OK a Collective----"awwwwwwww". LOL

And of course I just "happened" to find a killer deal on a 47' Samsung 1080i LCD HD 120 Htz TV, which will be here in a few short hours. After paying off all our medical bills, since 2004-(hey a triple bypass ain't exactly chump change even with insurance), but we paid faithfully every month and we are now out from under all that debt. It feels soooo good. We do want to start saving, so we have been living like we were only had one income, and getting used to the lifestyle. Now that we have no debt we can't put an entire months salary in savings, and not miss it- to put down on a land package deal.

We will probably buy about 5 acres, tame 1 to 2 of it and let the rest be, with only a small "yard".
I had 3 acres that I meticulously labored over year after year and I' ain't doin it no mo! I love a small garden and we will probably put a Double Wide on it while we build, and then sell or move/ rent the Mobile Home.

Damn, stay on topic....So we have justified it buy saying: that we have the cash, we stay at home and watch TV, and play on the Computer, and we just got a Wii and are having a blast with it together, so why not buy what we do the most-right? It is part of my wife's' rehab from the surgery. Seriously, they have several at their physical therapy office!

So I'm waiting as the orders dribble in, a cable here, a TV card here, a Router here, and then the TV tomorrow and New HD cable dish installed Sunday- (blasphemy send him to hell!) And the Laptop should arrive on the 22nd or so. I can justify every item but I don't have too. Not to anybody, but more importantly not to ourselves.

We are as deserving of these toys as anyone on the Planet and we are going to enjoy them without the associated guilt that usually comes after a large purchase! I love to see other people succeed and I don't understand people who don't want others to do well. So, yeah US! Wii are going to go Blue Ray, Blue Tooth and High Def within 3 days, and then have a BM when the first bill comes!! But we will pay it off before ANY interest accrues! Tomorrow is not guaranteed even as of this typing. Live in the MOMENT, but prepare for tomorrow also.

Be happy, treat yourself, lighten up; let's not let life control us, but let's take control of our lives. We have the power and the right to do so! Just be kind and mannerly, say thanks and how do? Open doors and pull out chairs. Laugh and cry with a friend- or better yet a stranger. Share raw emotions with someone you've barely met, and watch the cosmic connection as you both know deep inside that you each care, one for the other. Be a kind, gentle, loving, giving, spiritual being. Let go of cynicism, bitterness, prejudice, hatred, fear, envy, jealously, and the most important one- UN-forgiveness. They are more poisonous than Arsenic.

IT WILL TRULY SET YOU FREE!

TRACKING AN ORDER FROM DELL

I'M SURE THIS WON'T SURPRISE A LOT OF YOU BUT THIS IS KINDA FUNNY!

I placed a rather large on-line order with Dell on 12-12-08. NOTICE TO ROBBERS_ THIS MATERIAL WILL NOT RESIDE HERE: TO ROB IT GO TO :

I first noticed something funny when they split my order and separated the Laptop, Router, TV and a Cable. OK, no biggie-makes perfect sense to group like items. The TV computer card did not show up on the order at all. I called- it was there- still not showing up-but it was there they assured me. We will see!

Now let's concentrate on the TV and Cable. It showed the Cable and gave a tracking number. NO TV. OK, I see where the TV may be shipped secondarily-but separated from the cable I need to operate it, but OK. Still on the 12th.

TV- and cable went to Knoxville, Tn, Huntsville, TN, and Memphis Tn. From there cable came to Columbia and was delivered early on 12-15-08 to my house. No TV. I called Dell and TV is being shipped via CEVA Logistics. I called their 800 number I got from Dell. It is in Suawanee Ga. Then it travels to Hotlanta. ALL ON the 12th!!!!!!. COOL. Puzzling, but cool as estimated date of delivery is 12-19-2008!

Then TV was flown across the great state of SC from HotLanta to Charlotte NC. 12-12-2008. Why not drop it off? GAS PRICES PEOPLE!!!!!!! GOING GREEN????? The cable is suffering from plug anxiety! Anyway it ends up in Charlotte, where it is still sitting I presume, waiting to be loaded on a plane to fly it to?: -you guessed it- Columbia: it is now 12-17-2008! 5 day ground mind you- started on the 12th. 17-12= 5!!! Should be here,.............. oh, but there was a weekend involved! The airport can almost be seen from my house. Not the House where it will be kept mind you (For Robbers only). This thing has more air miles than I do and can probably vacation in the Isles somewhere.

So it's in Charlotte with a due date of Friday the 19th. I'm in Columbia on the 17th: DRIVING TIME TO CHARLOTTE 1 & 1/2 hours if the traffic is heavy!!! Up and back today, and I have it and, my cable is consolable! But nooooooooo. I have to wait until it is loaded and flown, then loaded and trucked to mi casa!

Yes, this is close to Christmas, the busiest time of the year! I WONDER FREAKIN WHY!!!!!!!!!!!
Ay Ay Ay, I lament the world without common sense! Gone the way of the Better mouse trap, the rectal thermometer, and the Potato peeler, all invented correctly the first time around!!!!!!!

I want my world back. But at least I will be able to watch ARMAGEDDON in HDTV!!!!!!!!

BLOOD TYPE------B POSITIVE

Have you ever been around negative people for any length of time. Don't they just drag you down with that negative energy. No matter what: it's a Doom and Gloom situation with them. How do you combat this? What are some ways to ward off this negative energy?

I believe we are all Energy (SPIRITS) and are affected by the energy surrounding us. I CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE to have a POSITIVE outlook on life as much as possible. I CHOOSE to be an Optimist. I refuse to pick up and carry anyone elses' baggage or labels. I have that right, and I am growing into having and USING that ability. That ability, the stronger it grows: affords me fruit.

The fruit, is the Fruit of the Spirit: Mentioned in the Bible. Summed up, I think mostly it's PEACE. TRANQUILITY would be another word. I like harmony. I don't like discord and conflict. I avoid it if possible, diffuse it if I can, and dispatch with it as quickly as possible if it can't be avoided.

Here it is in context so you won't think I'm just picking and choosing scripture to fit my life. I choose to Inherit the Kingdom of God, so I steer clear of the above as much as I can and live by walking in the light.

Galatians 5:18-23 (New International Version)

18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

This is a choice, and against this there is no law. So I'm not bound by legalism, but I'm free to enjoy myself. It's a right I've inherited in the here and now, and I choose to stay in this area of POSITIVE attitudes and people. When you are around, create and maintain this type of environment, I find I am much more CREATIVE and PRODUCTIVE in ALL aspects of my life.

From my relationship with myself, wife, co-workers etc. I imagine more, I smile more, I laugh more, I paint in my head, I sing, I daydream...I'm basically happy! Some days it works all day. Some days it works for 10 minutes -- LOL.....then I have to choose to come back to being Positive; by letting whatever negatives I ALLOWED in or encountered for however long. It's MY CHOICE how I handle them: Hey, I didn't say It was perfect, but it works perfectly, the design is perfect, and as I mature I find I can regain that position much more quickly than I used to. So if I keep practicing, I'll get even better at it.

Then I can smile, and do little random acts of kindness, like holding doors open for people and driving courteously, smiling, saying Thank You and meaning it, and the ripple effect may even have a positive impact on others! I Hope this has a POSITIVE impact on you as you read and maybe even ponder on this. Meditate and chew on how much of our lives IS created in our minds, by our attitudes and words. And how much IS CREATED FOR US, by allowing OTHERS to put words and thoughts in our Spirits- like the evening News, or some grouchy butthole at the DMV or someone cutting you off in traffic. Big Deal! Do we need that much Negativity? or do we need to maintain and KEEP that much negativity for any length of time and then get up the next morining and wait for it to start....all over again. It's Your Choice.

I'm just sayin'

ANOTHER GOOD WEEK

I an anticipating another good week! I am off today so that is a good start and we are having our Urgent Care Christmas Party this Friday. I can't wait to play Defibrilate the Doc again this year!

You line up all the Doctors and shock them placing the paddles one on each ear, and keep increasing the voltage until you have One Doc Standing! It's hilarious.

We are still excited about our Wii, and as expected we are having a little trouble finding Wii Fit. But it will still be a couple of months before the Wifey can really start rehab with that. Any suggestions on cool games we can play together that don't require a lot of movement? Are the Agatha Christie games OK??, or any good Role playing games- We already do the Meter maid and the Angry Car.....wait------so sorry, that's not a Wii game..my bad! Best move right along here...........

KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

a SANTAPEDE.........OH I FUNNY GUY! How lame is that! LOL





I sure do miss the days when I could post at will. This work and school thingy sure takes a lot of time. I am in such a GOOD place in my life. My wife and I are getting along famously, after her surgery, which went very well. The bone graft in her neck is taking and healing nicely. She still has to endure a lot of pain.

We treated ourselves to a Wii- justifying it by saying this will be part of my wife's rehab. It really will help, but we are having trouble finding the Wii Fit, which seems to be the hotty this Christmas. We have never owned a gaming console so I'm looking forward to all the games that we can explore together.

I hear it eats batteries so the chargable Controllers are the way to go, so that might be Santa's gift to us. We are not doing the traditional family Christmas this year since She can't travel long distances right now, so the adults are not buying presents for each other and we are all adopting families or giving to charity: however we want this season. It feels so good. Siunce we have no children I like the idea of making someone less fortunate; Christmas a little brighter.

Remember Jesus and think about our blessings this past year, as we suffer through this financial downturn. Pray for all who lost jobs. It helps keep things in perspective.

PRAISE GOD FOR MY WIFE'S SURGERY!!!!! While we are a long way from healing she has already regained feeling and complete use and strength in her arm. The donor bone graft is healing nicely! Thanks for all your prayers.
