SC WINTER SKY'S

South Carolina WINTER SKY'S

 Fiiiire!

I only wish this could do it justice! It looks so cold and angry!!!  Harry Potterish.

Can you barely see the Crane in the bottom of the pic? It lives there. It's a Whooping Crane.
Dang Power lines!

SORRY ABOUT THE GRAIN & SHAKE!--ALAS--6 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA, AND  (YES PAT!!! HAND HELD- NEED TO FIND MY TRI-POD!) LOL!, BUT THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE LOOK OUT THE WINDOW--GRAB IT AND RUN TIMES!!

LESSON: ALWAYS BE READY!

ALWAYS BE LOOKING!

I went outside to get the Pizza Delivery, Wings and Bread-Sticks.....YES! You heard me--if my arteries are already blocked--to heck with the diet! I noticed it was kinda pretty, but just took the food inside. looked 10 minutes later--yelled for the wife to come look, and we dashed out! It was that AWESOME!!!! You don't get a second chance at some of God's Paintings & we both enjoyed it together. With a slip of a moon hanging behind the tree limbs, (Those pics didn't come out at all with the shake and shudder! ar ar, we went back in shivering, but awestruck!

Jeannie-- I will try the Metamucil---maybe that will help more than one thing!!!

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

  3. Oh Dear John,
I just read your last post. You are such a wonderful man. I am so sorry to learn all of this, and I am keeping you in my prayers.
I'm glad you are in good hands (finally) with a good doc and med team. Your heart is as strong as they get, else you wouldn't have been able to appreciate these beautiful skies. Keep faith.
    Lots of love,

  11. twm-- I'd shuffle off to Buffalo to see my Uncle. From Fl- to Buffalo??? Lake effect Snow my ass.

    Lake effect BLIZZAED!! He's nuts!

I absolutely understand my friend, in the younger days, sitting in the pitch black of the Deer Stand 30 minutes before dawn- you asked yourself--what the Hell am I doing here---then it would happen: Everything came to LIFE at first light!

Great perspective! Thanks for the reminder!

  13. Gorgeous pictures John! I never look to see the sunset here - but there are just ugly houses below it anyway.

Def do the metamucil - can't hurt and it's a pretty cheap fix.

  15. Don't get a tripod! your photos are great... You photograph what you see. I love them! You also made me want some pizza right now... You are right about "always be ready!" A camera in the pocket is always a great idea. Also, it's more about a person's eye than how many megapixels their camera is. You have a good eye...
