I'M GOING TO FLORIDA!!!!

I'M GOING TO FLORIDA!!!!

What would I be missing if I did not go to this Complete family reunion at this Special, Miraculous time of Year!

AS Jen wrote in a comment, : IT IS CALLED AMA, and to be careful---- I HAVE HAD HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE SIGN OUT AMA, (Against Medical Advice) OVER MY 30 YEARS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD.

Jen-- thanks--and I will be careful!!! I think she was encouraging me to go!!!!

LIKE I SAID, THE CARDIOLOGIST JUST WANTS ME TO BE CAREFUL- (HE IS COVERING HIS A**!) as he has too in this day and age!

BUT PRAISE GOD WE HAVE THAT CHOICE. AND SINCE I WAS TOLD MY HEART AND LUNGS ARE OK--I'M GOING!

I received my CLEARANCE from a Higher POWER than my CARDIOLOGIST!!

GOD!

AND YES- I WILL USE THE MIND HE GAVE ME TO MAKE QUALITY DECISIONS!)

This is my Mother's dream Holiday: and she has always provided us with the most phenomenal unconditional LOVE, even after We three Kings, Children, went our separate ways.

My Uncle Lost his wife to Cancer not 3 months ago- and was in a deep state of depression (Tn)!! He has been in Fl. with my Aunt, recovering, (in my home town of Plant City), about 90 miles from the Scrub: (Ocala National Forest).  It's called that for all the Scrub Oaks in the area.

He is now RECOVERING, up and about, his diabetes controlled., and doing phenomenal!

I spoke to Him last Thursday--the first time since I last saw them, (He and his late wife), Christmas- 1985-86 (somewhere in there) when it hit 17 degrees in Plant City. How sad is that???

And I ONLY spoke to him then, because my Aunt called to check on: me!

He was too despondent to talk to me when Aunt B. passed.

The last Christmas I Saw Uncle B. and Aunt B., we lost all power, water, and heat, due to the pump freezing, and then we drove back from Fl to SC, on a trip that takes exactly 8 hours. It took 15, and I was white knuckled when we got home to a full blown SC snow. It was Ice from Fl through Ga, turning to Snow in SC !

You can't BUY adventures like that unless you go on ANY Cruise ship RECENTLY!  LOL!!!!!

THAT WOKE ME UP!!!!! ALONG WITH MANY OTHER (SIGNS) FROM ABOVE RECENTLY!

My Brother works for the Univ. of Fl, and runs a camp in Ocala.. that takes children out in Canoe's, and affords them a chance to camp, fish, hike, and enjoy/experience the Outdoors, most of them for their first time!  This is where we will be staying. We would boat from our small lake to the big Lake, and fish, ski, and swim until we dropped!

I truly do not remeber the last time all 3 of us were together with Mom, due to time, distance, money, or life's challenges. We will be there this year! And besides us 3 kids, my Brother-4 years younger than I, and my Sister- 4 years younger than him.., 2 of my 3 Uncles, my Niece, Her Boyfriend, and Walter & Tyson.., their Dogs, and a Partridge in.... will be there!

One Uncle is in Buffalo NY, and he won't make it!  Dumb-A**!!!!  LOL!

We grew up Hunting and Fishing in --THE SCRUB. All my Outdoor experiences and most of the bonds with my Late Father, as well as my Grandfather were formed in Ocala National Forest! As well as those of my Brother and Sister.

A pristine wilderness back in the late 50's and early 60's- our lives were formed and forged there! Who we are today- was birthed in the crystal clear waters of Little Lake Sellars (Near Lake George and the St John's River)--which is the only river in Fl that runs from the South to the North! The Dirt Roads, Barking Hounds, Deer chases & Lunker Large Mouthed Bass were a wonder for kids of 6- to 16 !!!!

TRULY, A World and Life of NO WORRIES!!!!

Our Hunting Cabin there we had from the early 50's..was recently sold and torn down.

DAMN GOVERNMENT!!! They wanted the land as our Cabin was built on a corner of the National Forest Property!!!!
They say you can never go home again:--BS!!! THEY- are wrong my friends!

POINT BEING: I'M NOT GOING TO MISS THIS REUNION!

THEIR ARE THINGS MUCH LARGER THAN MYSELF,
BLIMPS, METEOR SHOWERS, AND FAMILY TO NAME A FEW, THAT HAVE CAUSED ME TO REACH THIS DECISION.

(Just for 3 days!) But GO I MUST!

I will be careful and use my head--but I feel totally at peace, and know this is the right decision.

We are not promised tomorrow, so I don't want any regrets by not making an effort to honor my family at this special time of year. It's just NOT about John, as I make so many things be! Is that even ENGLISH? LOL!

This is the Time to Let LOVE Rule, and do things that make others happy and not self! In the end, doing that usually blesses the doer much more then the receivers of kind acts!

Are there any sacrifices you have had to make for family, friends, etc. this season?

Are they worth it?

Have their been any regrets from mistakes you made in the past?

Love to You all, & God Bless!

This post will have to do for a day or two as I have to get the car serviced, wrap and pack!
