ANOTHER GOOD WEEK

I an anticipating another good week! I am off today so that is a good start and we are having our Urgent Care Christmas Party this Friday. I can't wait to play Defibrilate the Doc again this year!

You line up all the Doctors and shock them placing the paddles one on each ear, and keep increasing the voltage until you have One Doc Standing! It's hilarious.

We are still excited about our Wii, and as expected we are having a little trouble finding Wii Fit. But it will still be a couple of months before the Wifey can really start rehab with that. Any suggestions on cool games we can play together that don't require a lot of movement? Are the Agatha Christie games OK??, or any good Role playing games- We already do the Meter maid and the Angry Car.....wait------so sorry, that's not a Wii game..my bad! Best move right along here...........

I sure do miss the days when I could post at will. This work and school thingy sure takes a lot of time. I am in such a GOOD place in my life. My wife and I are getting along famously, after her surgery, which went very well. The bone graft in her neck is taking and healing nicely. She still has to endure a lot of pain.

We treated ourselves to a Wii- justifying it by saying this will be part of my wife's rehab. It really will help, but we are having trouble finding the Wii Fit, which seems to be the hotty this Christmas. We have never owned a gaming console so I'm looking forward to all the games that we can explore together.

I hear it eats batteries so the chargable Controllers are the way to go, so that might be Santa's gift to us. We are not doing the traditional family Christmas this year since She can't travel long distances right now, so the adults are not buying presents for each other and we are all adopting families or giving to charity: however we want this season. It feels so good. Siunce we have no children I like the idea of making someone less fortunate; Christmas a little brighter.

Remember Jesus and think about our blessings this past year, as we suffer through this financial downturn. Pray for all who lost jobs. It helps keep things in perspective.

PRAISE GOD FOR MY WIFE'S SURGERY!!!!! While we are a long way from healing she has already regained feeling and complete use and strength in her arm. The donor bone graft is healing nicely! Thanks for all your prayers.

Many more posts to come as I'm about ready to unleash some more- as long as the school time will let me.

PRAISE GOD HE IS NOT!!!!!!

My wife is recovering faster than expected and has feeling in an arm that has been numb and painful for 18 years. This is even before the grafts have time to take effect and the swelling from the surgery has calmed down. Even this gain is enough to make the surgery worth it. Now if the long term pain control is anything like this, it will truly be miraculous.

I'd like to thank all who Prayed and continue to pray. It is a powerful dynamic that truly works...and we should be ready in an instant to Intercede-(Stand in the Gap) for another.

Picture arms linked together, an impenetrable line, with shields of Faith covering our heads as we battle against unseen forces.

THINGS REALLY DO COME IN THREE'S

AND IN HONOR OF OUR SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS- WHO CRACKED THE TOP 25 THIS WEEK....... A SPECIAL DISH!

1. WIFE'S SURGERY- SHE IS DOING GREAT! (STILL TALKING!)

2. MOM- SICK WITH COLD/PNEUMONIA IN MOUNTAINS NEAR ASHEVILLE. WE REALLY NEED TO GET HER OUT OF THAT TENT, NOW THAT WINTER IS COMING ON.

3. FATHER IN FLORIDA- SEVERE CHEST PAIN 2 DAYS AGO. WENT TO HOSPITAL NEAR TAMPA, AND HAD CARDIAC CATH THIS AM. PRAISE GOD HE ONLY NEEDED ONE STENT. HE IS POST QUINTUPLE BYPASS ABOUT 6-7 YEARS OUT, SO THIS IS A MAJOR BLESSING. (Guess I'll have to wait on that inheritance.) JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go back to work tomorrow for 3- 12's and then take Wifey to Dr. for post op check on the 12th. A few x-rays to check on the bone graft and hardware. Everything is fine, but I can't get used to those ROBOCOP noises when she bends her neck!

I heard we were going to war with Iran, but new President sent some Wine and a Cheese Basket and they called it off! Maybe we are onto something here with this dialogue stuff! A kinder: more WUSSY AMERICA! American's abroad are already reported as being treated more hospitable since the election. I'm sure they polled those in the Turkish prisons as well????

LIFE IS GOOD

Wife is home from the Hospital. She is still running a low grade fever..it had dropped to normal but is back up to 101 this morning. She can already feel her right arm again, this quickly after surgery!!! This is even before the neck and the irritation from the surgery had a chance to calm down! She is even on very little pain meds!! GOD IS GOOD!

Of course when you have a caregiver as awesome as moi, she's bound to get better. LOL---OOOps, I think I left her sitting on the porch with her coffee. That was at 8:30 am and now it's 2:00. Guess I'd better go check, especially since I heard that thump. Hey, I thought it was a cat jumping off the counter!

And how about that erecction? No, no Freudian slip here, we're screwed. Don't get mad, just wait 4 years and watch Nancy Pelosi who has control of almost everything now run us straight into the ground. She will throw Mr. Obama a crumb or two up front in his Presidency, and then with total Democratic control and the 5 minute rule and no Fillibusters, ram and jam every, pork, law, and attachment for special interests, right on through the into law.

Pray for America. Don't panic. Our God is still in control and I believe this is part of His plan to show us that without Godly Wisdom, and returning to the Word He set forth, that we in our Natural wisdom, cannot handle the responsibilities of self Government without His guidance. I think this is what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they said One Nation Under God.

Just my Opinion, I'm open and willing to continue to support our country and troops. The American people have voted and I accept that decision. I don't like it but I accept it. If you never have or if it has been a long time, blow the dust off your Bible and start reading just to see what, if anything it speaks to your Heart. Ask God to enlighten You and help you understand His Word, because it is foreign unless we have a relationship with Him through His son. Sermon over.

Ok, I had to get that out and now it's over and done with. Let's move forward!
