  5. Nice shots! Just got a nook. Lots and lots of free ones to download, like 183,000! Good ones too. Plus, alot are less than $5.

  6. Terrific shadow shots for the day, John, sunshine and flowers and leaves do make great shadows! I read so many books after I retired, I really burned myself out, but lately I've been thinking about a Kindle or a Nook -- probably will make a choice soon! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!

  10. The flowers are delicate and accented so nicely by the shadows. Pretty and artistic, much like an artist used acrylics on canvas. Very nice!

We do not have tablets of any variety around here-but would like. Despite the prices, we need a few extra bucks, but soon we hope...

  13. Super shadow shots! I love my Kindle - lots of free and reasonably priced books, as well as all the latest ones ..... and for those of us who need reading glasses, you can increase the font size to suit!!

  14. The little purplish-blue flowers look lovely, but the vine to which they are attached looks somewhat prickly!

  16. Ah, I can see the ages in those tree stump shots. And the light makes me feel like I'm hanging upside down. Nice spotlight.

  21. Dear John that above "story" was too cute .. can you believe we are a family without any of those devices? and I still feel no overwhelming need for a cell phone! Amazing eh ? LOL
    I actually live primitively ?
I love the shadows on the tree stump .. the stump is trying to illustrate how long it has lived without any interference until that day some one just had to destroy its life .. sad
