This is part and parcel of my journey through life, as seen through my eyes, heart and mind. Scary I know!!- Hopefully this Blog will allow us to Learn & LAUGH, as well as to THINK and QUESTION: Who we are, Where we are heading and Who we are becoming- Join in on my journey?....... Or Not!
GOD BLESS AMERICA; AMERICA, BLESS GOD!
Terrific shadow shots for the day, John, sunshine and flowers and leaves do make great shadows! I read so many books after I retired, I really burned myself out, but lately I've been thinking about a Kindle or a Nook -- probably will make a choice soon! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
Super shadow shots! I love my Kindle - lots of free and reasonably priced books, as well as all the latest ones ..... and for those of us who need reading glasses, you can increase the font size to suit!!
Nice shots! I'm still a pen and paper girl... It's interesting that we have the same time but I guess you have an evening now? Here in Helsinki it's a sunny Monday morning...
Dear John that above "story" was too cute .. can you believe we are a family without any of those devices? and I still feel no overwhelming need for a cell phone! Amazing eh ? LOL I actually live primitively ? I love the shadows on the tree stump .. the stump is trying to illustrate how long it has lived without any interference until that day some one just had to destroy its life .. sad Joy
really like those first 2 shots. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Theresa--Have a great weekend!!

The second shot is my favorite, John. By the way....I'm a Kindle. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL- Kelly--I don't have one yet--I was just wondering how much you'd spend on books?

Nice shots! Just got a nook. Lots and lots of free ones to download, like 183,000! Good ones too. Plus, alot are less than $5.

A fun collection of outdoor ivy shadows! But love the ambience and intimacy of the last indoor shadow!
ReplyDeletethat's one big old tree...have a great weekend john!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I especially like the ones on the tree stump.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are delicate and accented so nicely by the shadows. Pretty and artistic, much like an artist used acrylics on canvas. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWe do not have tablets of any variety around here-but would like. Despite the prices, we need a few extra bucks, but soon we hope...
Love that first shot John! Thanks for your beautiful contribution to Shadow Shot Sunday 2.
ReplyDeleteCome see the Flag in the Wood shadow. Have a blessed Sunday!

ReplyDeleteJohn John John Kindle of course, no shadow can live on the screen.

ReplyDeleteThe little purplish-blue flowers look lovely, but the vine to which they are attached looks somewhat prickly!

Nice group of Shadow Shots John. The poem is cute too...We don't do either, Kindle or Nook. Still paper people. Happy SSS.
ReplyDeleteAh, I can see the ages in those tree stump shots. And the light makes me feel like I'm hanging upside down. Nice spotlight.
ReplyDeletePS and the poem was a fun read!
ReplyDeleteNice shots!
