  1. LOL @ the orthodics! I saw the cutest little boy - maybe 2 years old - being entertained by his shadow today. Especially because it was taller than he was ;)

  5. Well now, that first shot can certainly make us jump to a false conclusion. Nature does some crazy things with angles and such. It's a fantastic shaow shot!
    Thatn last one looks like the perfect Cap'n Morgan pose.
    Good stuff.

    Peace

  7. I'm glad you used the first one today. I'm still fascinated by the difference between the shadow and the object!

  8. I'm far enough up north that yesterday, when canoeing, I noted the shadows at 2:30 being long--it's that season of long shadows, providing interesting possibilities

  11. Dude bring them clod hoppers and patrol the driveway for bedbugs which have invaded my next door neighbors house. It doesn't pay much but at least if you stay until the first real snow you'll get to operate the snow blower if the old lady trusts you to use her tools,

  12. And the answer to your oak/pine question is...?

    SHADOW PLAY

    Shadows like horses, shadow likes chicks,
    Shadows like houses built with red bricks;

    Shadows much taller than a high wall—
    No matter their shape, I love them all!

    BBB,

    MMT- It was actually an Oak limb- behind the pine needles that OVERSHADOWED them. The Pine Needles shadow was actually on the ground. I just got lucky on the Shadow play on that shot!
