Why did you cut them down? Just curious. Because they were pretty. Unlike cocks ;)
ReplyDeleteMiddle Child--me too!
ReplyDeleteJ
Pat--they were donated to an Iraqi vet who's only source of heat is wood!
J
Cloudia--When my Dad came up to see me play Football- he was sitting in the stands and he said when they yelled "Go Cocks", he said he got up to leave!
See- I get it naturally--LOL!!!
J
RK- they were phallic symbols and made me feel---;-)! The Landlord did it, because he said they could possibly damage the house. Now, the wind and rain can do more damage as these were sturdy hardwoods and weathered many a storm over their lives. But it was his call.
J
Tell the landlord to keep on cutting, hell if we all put our backs to it we can deforest the entire planet in two decades.
ReplyDeleteMay your cock(s) fight the good fight and find the hole from the three point line every time!
HA HAAAAA--Deforestation and 3 sports in one!!!
ReplyDeleteBetter than Agent Orange and Daisy Cutters!

How very sad.
ReplyDeleteWeren't you looking for a new place? Hopefully now you'll find one - with trees intact.
Sad, sad. I love having trees around me.
ReplyDeleteI would kill... yes KILL... to have the trees that hang precariously over my roof and cover my yard (NONE of which are on my property) chopped down. Every last one of them belong to my neighbors... but they all hang over MY property, keep my house pitch black on the sunniest of days, and a dehumidifier running 24/7 in the basement. So yeah, I see this post and I turn green with jealousy.
ReplyDeleteHell...I'd kick puppies at this point to get these trees removed.
Jeannie--We can find trees everywhere down here--the problem is the right kind and amount!
ReplyDeleteJ
Kelly-- I like a nice balance...I've lived in an open field and totally surrounded by trees--the balance is the key!
J
Gillian-----LMBO!!!! Hell- kick em anyway- Now THAT could be a problem. But ours weren't----just 10 degrees of natural AC that we will now have to pay for!
he e--a dehumidifier in SC is a true Oxymoron---but I do understand INSIDE a house! Mold is a bad actor!!!
