Those are some very lovely pictures, I love a great sky-shot!

Those Baby Boomer txs are fantastic! ... and oddly spot on, since I've been noticing more and more of my friend's parents just making up their own thinking that the rest of us could decode them somehow. Many couldn't/wouldn't grasp the concept that certain ones were "established" and therefore understandable.. unlike ones that come through like: "HTGSOIYNA" (I shit you not, that was a REAL message a friend of mine got from their mother (who is in her early 70's now)... and after much guessing, then finally just asking WTF it meant... we got "Heading to the grocery store off island, you need anything?" ...
ReplyDeleteGuess the opposite is true for those that don't "get" some of the common ones... like when my friend's Mother left "oh, poor thing! LOL" after her daughter was worried about abdominal pains so severe that the ER was lookin' like a good idea... and we were all like "why is your mother laughing at that?"
Turned out (after one of the funniest on line conversations I've ever seen) that her mother believed "LOL" meant "lots of love." :)
Aging - sometimes it's great - sometimes its not
ReplyDeleteI love that I am not a slave to fashion. I hate that I can't wear 95% of the gorgeous items out there anyway.
Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteDoes aging bother me? Well, at this point it still beats the alternative.
