Dancing at the Speed of Light. No Idea what is was! Probably a firefly! or Ghost!

If you were traveling at the speed of light in a car and turned your headlights on: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?
Is the speed of Dark---   0  ????

WE MUST CONTINUE OUR THEME OF TIME: NOW IT HAS BLED INTO MOVIES AND PETS!

I WAS TALKING TO MY BEST BUD, BANDIT--WHO HAS CEASED TO EXIST IN OUR TIME ZONE, AND I SAID,

Pup Pup, We called Him Pup Pup; "Before you ceased to be at 17.5 years old, did you know you were going to die.?"

He said "I was 122.5 years Old?"!!!! NO WONDER I FELT LIKE CRAP !"

I said, "You have to quit thinking in Dog years!".

He said, "OH, ALLRIGHT DEN", in his best Carl, in Slingblade Impression! He was good doing Carl.

He said, "NO, thankfully I have no concept of time and dying. That's only a Cross people have to bear. Knowing you are going to die at some point and time. That must be a bummer! Say, is that why you go to Church? Trying, hoping, to see if there is something else after---well, you know.? ALWAYS WONDERED THAT... see, I live totally in the moment. Why do you think when you go to the mailbox and come right back, I freak as if I haven't seen you for days?"

I said, "I didn't know, I always thought you were just "Different"--in a god way!

"Nope, just lived in the moment, and for several MOMENTS, you were gone. I was just excstatic to see ya when you got back. How long were you gone?, as if I would have any idea how long you were really gone! Don't answer that, I'm just messing with ya!" "PSYCH!"

So I said, "When I held you in my lap, and the Vet, Dr Amy, gave you that medicine in your arm- were you scared"

HEr looked up at me with those awesome liquid eyes for the last TIME, and said,

"My Buddy, I have no idea what you are talking about. All I know is that I hurt in all my joints, I can hardly walk up two steps, or breathe...I mean I was 122....sorry, 17.5 years old: whatever that means; or so you kept saying",
He "paws ed", too long for my comfort, and then continued, "I just knew I was feeling better second by second...is that time frame correct?"

I nodded.

Then He was gone.

IT WAS HIS TIME!

And I cried it seems like forever......and I still cry to this day.
I can't forget, nor do I want to:

THAT LAST MOMENT. WHEN HE HURT NO MORE!

Whew! While I was typing this my Lab Hope was outside. She had been out for no more than 30 minutes. She NEVER stays out that long..she's a spoiled brat inside dog, unless I take her Squirrel Hunting! OK, so only twice now- inside the fence for like 10 minutes..moments, whatever!, and now all she wants to do is go out, and re- Live That Moment! But how does she remember "THAT MOMENT"  after days have passed? Especially if she only lives in THE FREAKIN MOMENT!??  I never knew she would Love it so much, or remembered it.

Anyway--she ran past my wife (after a cursory hello and quick lick), bolted into the spare bedroom to me, and licked and licked and licked my leg. I gently patted her head, scratched her behind the ear, and immediately she lay down and went to sleep!

WHAT A MOMENT!

SHE'S 42----- I MEAN 6 !

AND I SEE SUBTLE SIGNS OF HER SLOWING DOWN.
JUST LIKE ME.

WONDER IF I NEED TO GO TO CHURCH?

HOPE- "CAUGHT IN A MOMENT"!!

  2. Hi John, I love Enya too, and I honestly can't fall asleep unless I am listening to her on a C.D.!
Ah, "Then Winter Came", that was the last one of hers that I bought! (Another Time relation!)

I also had an old dog, Harry, and he was beautiful, but he was 18 years, in our time, so that would make him about 126 years old. He developed a tumour on his spine, and it got so that he couldn't eat, so I decided to have to have him put to sleep.
I think that he knew what was happening, he just looked at me and gave a big sigh, as if to say "Thank you".
I miss that old dog so much, but I like to think that he is happy running on the moors again!

    Ily,

The OLD joke about the two guys on the airplane going to LAS VEDAS for the "SHOWS" and one says to the other "Does your dog lick it's .....?

The other guys said Yes! and if I could do that I wouldn't be on this Airplane!

and the one about the guy who saw a dog doing that and said to his friend:
"I sure wish I could do that!"
and the other guy said- "YOU BETTER PET HIM FIRST!"
