OK ALL- HERE GOES!!! Today I'll be working on creating the New Blog.
I'll use Blogger's regular templates and all the stuff I'm familiar with so don't expect a lot of difference IN STYLE or look from Full-On Forward. (I'm not that good with the bells and whistles..but we'll get there!) But boy Oh Boy will there be a difference CONTENT wise.

As the site developes it's personality, we'll see where we should head. If you enjoy Full-On Forward- I hope to keep it up and running. The New Blog will be more consistent and true to the content and format that caused me to originally want to Blog. So It will still reflect ME style wise! If you feel there may be something missing in your life. A small hole that's eternally empty, something's missing and you can't quite put your finger on it-or if there's a hunger for something new, different-- stop by the site and read with us and join us as we duscuss these very issues....

You may not consider yourself an Overtly Spiritually inclined, or very "religious" person- you may be surprised! The way this will be presented will reach that dimension of your persona that may be neglected or pushed aside in this busy, commercialized, me, me, me, world. There will be enough positive, take home information as well as new and instructional material- that will apply to anyone looking for a more uplifting, directional, purposeful walk through, in and about LIFE!!! This is a Christian site and is not hiding behind any other pretense.

MOST OF THE SITE WILL BE DEDICATED TO DISCUSSION OF PRACTICAL- LIFE APPLICATION PROBLEMS, REAL LIFE SITUATIONS AND DILEMMAS. THIS WILL NOT BE A SITE WHERE RELIGION IS CRAMMED DOWN YOUR THROAT AND YOU WILL NOT BE BEAT OVER THE HEAD WITH SCRIPTURE UNTIL YOU PUKE! I DON'T BELIEVE GOD WOULD HAVE ME DO THAT- I KNOW HE DOESN'T DO THAT!!!!- I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT IN MY TEACHING AND I'M NOT GOING TO START SPOUTING CHRISTIANESE NOW.

YOU WILL FIND THIS MOSTLY A FUN AND NON-CONFRONTATIONAL- (unless need be_ MUAHHAAHAAAHAA! SITE! SO- I need everyone who would like to visit to send me a lock of your hair- a personal item-- Gold rings work especially well-
It's OK to laugh! Not at what I just wrote because that wasn't funny- BECAUSE SATAN IS ALIVE AND WELL AND NOTHING TO BE LAUGHED AT---but there will be some very funny stuff and you can laugh at it! I asked God and He said OK.

This will be a work in progress and will morph and change as the Spirit leads! I don't think I could change my style of blogging if I had to: because I'm am who I am. (Popeye!) I'm who God created me to be and I have the same personality and same warped sense of humor whether I'm teaching or sharing Spiritual Lessons, Principles, humor, commenting and writing! Hypocritical-from Full-On Material to the New site- Possibly-well Probably- but Honest, Sincere, growing and changing- YES!- MOST DEFINITELY! PERFECT- ABSOLUTELY! Hey---It's my Blog! Oh OK- so it's not perfect! And neither am I. Deep inside I know in time that I will not be able to keep up with Full-On Forward and the New site. It will be one or the Ohter. And I know which one it will be.

Read a couple of the last few posts between seaspray, Scarlet, elle bee, annie and see a few of my current Blog buddies and see if this might be something you may be interested in without any of the riske humor, language, cartoons, innuendos- (that's a Spanish suppository)- I don't care who you are that's funny right there!!

My prayer is we can all come together and discuss, counsel, help, encourage, pray for and support each other in this crazy world. Over all, this will be a fun, positive, instructive area where hurting people can come for some Spiritual First Aid from wounded relationships, hurtful words, broken hearts, the wounds and bruises of Lifes scrapes and scars, personal problems- big and small, loneliness, depression and let's not forget PRAISE AND WORSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! I pray I am even worthy to present and moderate this type of format! With your prayers, and God's Grace- I believe we will have an awesome Spiritually uplifting and positive on-line experience.

Pray Pray Pray- spread the word! It will be a work in progress, evolving as God directs! This is OUR BLOG- actually GODS- may HE get all the Glory, Honor and Praise. and Thanks to Scarlet from Another day in Paradise who aptly named the Blog

This award-winning photograph of the recent flood waters
rising in Ireland captures the horror and suffering there. Keep
these people in your thoughts and prayers.

I TRIED NOT TO POST IT--BUT I HAD TO!!!!!

Mom and Dad were trying to console Susie , whose dog had recently died.

"You know," Mom said, "it's not your fault that the dog died.

He's probably up in heaven right now, having a grand old time with God."

Susie , still crying, said, "What would God want with a dead dog?"

Kinda like the one with the dead Seagull on the beach..... ;)

WHY WE SPLIT UP

She told me we couldn't afford beer at $25.00 a case anymore and I'd
have to quit drinking.

Then I caught her spending $65.00 on make-up, and I asked her how come I had to give up stuff and she didn't.

She said she needed the make up to look pretty for me.

I told her that's what the beer was for.

I don't think she's coming back.....

ZEN SARCASM - Funny and Zen Some!

ZEN SARCASM

1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone.

2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.

3. Its always darkest before dawn, so if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

4. Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.

5. Always remember that you're unique, just like everyone else.

6. Never test the depth of the water with both feet

7. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.

8. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

9. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

10. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

11. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

12. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

13. Some days you're the bug; some days you're the windshield.

14. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

15. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

16. A closed mouth gathers no foot.

17. Duct tape is like 'The Force,' it has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

18. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.

19. Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.

20. Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

21. Never miss a good chance to shut up.

22. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night

THERAPY

Subject: What a woman needs

A couple goes to a counselor after 25 years of marriage.

The counselor asks them what the problem is and the wife goes
into a tirade listing every problem they have had in the 25 years of

their marriage. She goes on and on and on...

Finally, the counselor gets up, walks around the desk, embraces
the wife and kisses her passionately.

The woman shuts up and sits quietly in a daze. The counselor turns

to the husband and says, "This is what your wife needs at least
three times a week. Can you do this?"

The husband thinks for a moment and replies, "Well, I can drop
her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I fish."

HANKY ALERT

THE BLIND GIRL

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.
She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her
She told her boyfriend, "IIf I could only see the world, I will marry you."

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off,
she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'
The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying:
Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by
their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a Gift

Today before you say an unkind word -
Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has
nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's
crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life -
Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children -
Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep -
Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive
Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job -
Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another -
Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down -
Put a smile on your face and thank GOD you're alive and still around.

OK OK IT's a cartoon- but I still think it's funny!!!!

TIME FOR GOD'S WORD??????

A lot of you know that I have wanted for the longest time to post a very detailed, focused and above an average or beginners Christian Small Group Learning/Teaching Experience. I am first and foremost a Christian in my walk in life and have been called a Teacher of God's Word! I know many would take exception to that by some of the things I've posted as well as language and material used on my personal blog. Oh well. That's just who I am. Honest, Growing, Learning, what you see is what you get. Imperfect and have a long way to go before I can truly call my self a Man of God!

I would like to move on into an area of Christian growth and discipleship to anyone interested and would love to have you join me on this journey. This will take many different twists turns and have many different faces from dry theological lectures to lively discussions about current events and how we as Christians are reacting to then, turning a blind eye, compromising, being hypocrites etc. We will learn about God, His attributes, His statues, His Commandments- but Most of all- WE WILL GROW CLOSER TO THE PERSON OF GOD HIMSELF!!!!! THE GIVER-- NOT THE GIFT!!!

To do this I must separate the two blogs completely. I want to continue to write for myself on Full-On Forward as a blog about my Life and Walk. I plan to do a second blog which will be stricter in the sense of a much more structured and honest attempt to teach the full truth from the work about God-(using the HOLY BIBLE)-(many Translations) & leading us Into and Understanding and a knowledge of God Himself- that we can better spend our lives discerning and doing His Word and Will to His Glory. To become better Husbands, Wife's, Children, People--better Disciples of Jesus Himself led by the Holy Spirit.

Please follow along on both if you wish or either one you like. I would love feedback as to if the two are working or if I've strayed from my true calling which is to simply journal my daily perspectives and life! Let me know- this feedback is for all of us! I think I have taken the words given to me by my early blog friends and stayed true to what I am writing about now. I don't feel the pressure to have certain numbers nor do I expect certain reactions, or an audience--I'm just writing - and it FUN!!!!!! If others learn and enjoy- YEAH!!!! like dropping by, commenting, lurking- Perfect!!!! If not- I'd be a a little put out as everyone likes to be accepted, affirmed and reaching others; but it truly doesn't define me as a Blogger now. God defines me, and after that I define myself. If I have a strong enough presence to give you the truth I've learned through the application of the Word of God and of the Life I'm living because of that Word- and If you like the way it sounds and it brings a smile to you or enlightenment and encouragement to you and yours----well AMEN!!!@!!!!

I think I'm hitting my stride in learning how far to push, what subjects work and which don't to some degree- and above all that- TO THINE OWN HEART BE TRUE AND JUST PUT IT OUT THERE!!

I'm Thinking of staying with Full-On Forward as my daily Blog as it is so much a part of me- and Starting writing the Christian- (Not so sure I even want to call it that but it will come- the WALKING WITH THE MASTER BLOG, or Walking with God, Getting to Know the King- all these will give me guidance to choose the correct one from. I'd love to have you join one or both as we branch out into a new pathway of self- discovery, love and some harsh realities about some things we may need to change and get rid of in our lives! Help me pick a name- a path! Make it yours!!!

One thing I can say without reservation. HOW! (Just kidding)....I will publish the truth of God's Word as I know it as revealed from His Spirit to ours. But I'll never tell you what you must do- or what to believe--this will be your YOUR discovery of God on your own. YOU must decide what is true from God's Word and whet er you want to follow that path or not! I merely have a few tools to help us along!!!! What do you think- is there enough interest to see if this dog'll hunt?

Give me some feedback- contact some other bloggers and see if they might like to swing by as we get it going. If it's good enough- they'll stay for the truth!!

Love to you all

John McELveen

Any and all suggestions welcome and needed!! I'm not thin skinned either. Be honest as I know you will! We will probably start this right after the first of Labor day and as soon s I see what my school schedule will be, if there is enough interest!

Love in Christ- Be praying and plowing the ground to get our hearts and minds ready for God's Truth!!!!

Love In Christ!

John McELveen

THE FRUIT DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE?

I wonder where a lot of these FOLK TALE type e-mails and myths really get their origin. Did it come from the lost art of Entertainment mixed with superstion being passed on from family to family by thier own FAMILY "STORYTELLER" around the campfire? Some are crocs- some are cool.

WHAT TREE DID YOU FALL FROM?
Find your birthday and then find your tree. This is really cool
and somewhat accurate, also in line with Celtic astrology. I personally don't believe in Astology- dodn't get me wrong- there are a lot of generalizations and truisms in certain "types" of people, but I don't use it to live my life by! I happen to be a Popular Tree.

But what if I wasn't so Poular? Would I branch out, take up root in a certain area. Go out on a limb for success? Leaf it to me to bark up the wrong tree altogether and Pine away. OK OK- I'm sorry- that's enough without handing out Phenergan or Zofran!!
