POLITICAL FRIDAY--VENTING FOR THE WEEKEND!

Even our international neighbors seem to have a sense of humor and insight into our plight!

WELL- I DIDN'T SEND IT BUT I POSTED IT! AND THERE ARE MANY OTHER FACTORS THAT NEED TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN YOU SLAP UP A GENERALIZED POST LIKE THIS......... BUT IT DOES HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE POLARIZED THAT HAVE NEVER REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT HOW IMPORTANT OUR VOTE IS IN AMERICA!!!!!!!

I THINK ALL WE ARE ASKING IS THAT THE LAW BE APPLIED EQUALLY. I DO UNDERSTAND SOMEONE WANTING A BETTER LIFESTYLE FOR THEIR FAMILY, AND I APPRECIATE THE EXPENSE AND SACRIFICE IT TAKES TO TRY TO MAKE IT TO THE US. BUT WHEN OUR OWN CITIZENS ARE DENIED SOME OF THE MOST BASIC OF AMENITIES  IN OUR OWN COUNTRY--LIKE HOUSING, PRESCRIPTIONS, ELECTRICITY, SCHOOL LOANS, WORK!!!....SOMETHINGS BROKEN!

AND FINALLY AFTER HAVING SERVED IN MEDICINE FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS, I HAVE TO COMMENT ON THE AMAZING NEW BRA. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WOMEN WILL BE HELPED BY THIS INGENIOUS PRODUCT!

New  Bra

Dr. Calvin Rickson, a scientist from Texas A&M University , has invented a bra that keeps women's breasts from jiggling, or bouncing up and down, and prevents the nipples from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in.

At a news conference, after announcing the invention, a large group of men took Dr. Rickson outside and kicked the shit out of him.

 HE'S BAAAAAAACK

AND SO IS HEEEEEE!
 SHADOW-MAN HOLDING UP HEAVY POLE!

SHADOW-MAN BALANCING HEAVY POLE!

SHADOW-MAN IS GONE!!!!

BOTTLED WATER SHADOW-MAN LEFT!!!!!

  3. Being neither sheep nor lemming I will simply say that before anyone of any sense votes study the years of finance prior to 1929. I find it odd how it took FDR 7 years before the economy improved when it was only 15% of the population which caused 100% of the suffering of which 5% of that 15% suffered the least. And when the numbers are currently substantially much bigger a percent of gross GDP now than then we want everything fixed yesterday. It isn't pretty to see that this economic is still a result of conservative non-tax and spend policy but it is reality.

As for the medical care, we have established free public health care at our taxpayer cost in Iraq for 31,234,000 (NYT) Iraqis and complain bitterly about being humane to people both citizens and non citizens in our own land. Last I read Iraq has a mutli hundred billion dollar reserve , sold oil drilling rights to China and England and have not yet paid a dime for U.S. security for their "fragile government."

So before we go to far over the cliff at jabbing the current president and administration let us remember who started two wars, gave ten years of tax cuts all unfunded, and finalized the deregulation of the financial markets by gutting their watch dogs.

  4. I have to agree with much of what the Walking Man has to say--especially the economic mess being the "result of the conservative (so-called) non-tax and spend policy."

That said, I laughed out loud at the introduction of the new bra and the aftermath.

  5. (Rolls eyes) Pul-ease tell me you did not litter, mister.

Yeah, bras that conceal nipples are nothing new. They call 'em (demure and conservative)...in other words, we should pretend they don't exist.

Love your photos with the shadow and the stick. Ooooh...feel those guns.

  7. Erm, I come from a country, nay the part of the world where EVERYBODY must have an ID or Identity Card. Either it was ol thumb printed or the new one with chip inside and always with an ugly mugshot :)

So how do you show that you are not an illegal alien in the US? (I ask because I do not know, once again)

  8. Shadow-- The only way to know is to ask--and you have to have probable cause-or some valid reason to stop someone. Otherwise it's "profiling" or a violation of personal civil rights. That's not all there is to it- but that's the gist--you just can't stop anyone unless you have a reason--that is what our Democracy and Civil Liberties and rights were founded on. And I must say I do like it that way.

  9. I don't have a problem with anyone trying to make a better life for themselves or their family, I have a problem with people taking advantage of the system so to say, and illegal or not there are millions who are breaking this country by living on the system.

We have a problem with importing more than we are exporting because it is cheaper to import clothing lets say rather than make them here, factorys in the South are now closed and people are out of work because of this so we can buy a ten dollar t-shirt rather than a twelve dollar one, I'd rather pay 12 and have a job than wish I could afford 10 because I'm out of work.

Az has the right idea but I'm with you that we can't just stop someone for no reason.
