Doc: "Where the HELL have you been, and just WHO ARE these other cats?????????

My Dad's house from the road. Typical Florida : "slab" house. View into garage. Is it time for a McElveen move? Things like this open up a lot of possibilities. (No, I didn't get the house- Dad's Widow got it, and deserved it!!!!!) That is my wifey!

What a wonderful day to just kick back, take a deep breath and relax. The "official" start of Summer.

Poll for today:

1. What was your best Summer Vacation ever?

2. What could/would you do this Summer to top it?

3. Is the Economy going to affect your Summer Vacation/Travel plans?

  1. Hi wifey! How's her neck doing BTW?

My best summer vacations were when I was a kid and we went to the cottage. Since my husband has always worked all summer, we never really had summer vacation. Best winter vacation? I dunno. We've had a lot of good times. The last one was perhaps the best because we made some good friends out of it.

  2. As long as gas stays cheap I'm going to drive up to see the family. It's a chore but it's good for the kids.

  3. Jeannie,

Her neck is doing much better and even survived the drive to Fl and back. We drove through about 9 to 10 inches of rain, down and back. Serious White Knuckle and almost pull off at times on I-95!!!! Thanks for asking!

Those will be treasured memories for both parties one day! Great Dad!!!!

  4. Hey, John...great pics and post! Good way to welcome the summer (by asking us questions).

    1) My best summer vacation was a camping trip in the mountains of NH a few years ago. We were surrounded by family/friends and I loved the time we spent talking/drinking around the fire every night.

    2) I'd love to go on a Hawaiian cruise, but that's not going to happen...a Bahamas cruise is almost certain to happen, but we'll see.

    3) Uh...yeah...and the fact that I'm still unemployed. :(

Have a great weekend, amigo!! Hope you have a wonderful summer! :)

  5. Thanks for playing!!

    We'll have some fun!
