Now that I have your attention- this Groundhog- (that I
call Land Beavers) is freeloading and living inside my Chicken House!
They are so elusive, this is one of the few times I've ever seen him out, especially in the middle of the day.
Sorry for the lack of focus- this was an instant shot, through glass about 75 yards away! It's really hard to tell his size, but I would guess this critter weighs around 20-25 lbs. It's way bigger and more solid than a large house cat.
I could hardly keep up with each days change. Storms, Heavy winds, and then you know that beauty that follows???
Everything feels clean, new, bright, the animals are moving morning noon and night. Something is always happening...deer this morning, Persied Shower tonight......
I was so blessed to ba able to pause, and
TAKE IN EVERY SECOND OF IT!
Maybe in some small way, if you couldn't stop or slow down this past week....you can dip in here for just a second and sip some Honey Water and know that you are valued as a person!

Most of you know just HOW MANY wild
critters I tolerate and Love...Snakes, Wasps, Hornets, Bees, Skunks,
Groundhogs, Deer---BUT DO NOT ENTER MY ABODE- PEE in my ceiling, and
especially- DON'T TOUCH MY TATERS!!!
Moused- Potatoes Recipe...
1. Put said TATERS in Cabinet...and finally discover that it's been
eaten, and now you know the scratching noises in attic aren't Tree Rats
or Opossums!
2. Place trap (use Peanut Butter) !!!
and catch several mice. (It is important to catch the ones eating the
TATERS as they will already have a Buttery, Chivey taste to them.
3.
Microwave Mouse until.....well- you will KNOW when he's done, and
prepare the TATERS (it ate) as usual, pour TATERS (it ate) over Mouse.
4. Add Cheese- YES, IRONY!!!! to taste.
5. Repeat as necessary.
6. Eat with Chopsticks for a Real New York style dining experience.
Next week- Mouse in a Crock Pot and Picking out a wine for your Mice dishes. * Notice in second pic that the little bugger almost cleaned out the Peanut Butter in the Trap. I said Almost .......
I have used poisons in the past- but in the home, I'd rather trap them, than have them go off and die in my attic.
I woke up and today seemed exactly like yesterday.....
Although it seemed as if I had never been there before- Vuja-De, It seemed like I knew everything that was going to happen in a vague, crystal clear way. Not knowing, was exactly what I needed to keep from getting bored until after it happened.
I know you think you understood what I was trying to say, but I'm not really sure that what you heard was exactly what I meant.
Since I know how this is going to end, but not specifically when, I am going to post the Picture that keeps popping into my head, and perhaps you can name this movie trailer I'm stuck in. It's a trailer like a short video...not like the FEMA Type Trailer I should be staying in after this disastrous post!

Stepped out of the car in Garage- and I stepped on this getting out
of car. He was extremely understanding and did not even try to bite me.
Even so I am now power washing out the Garage- (since I had to do my
Drawers anyway!!!!!)
Wonder how long I stop looking out the window before I get out of car from now on?
And, yes...he is alive and well and will continue to eat mice!
I
go out for a walk... and I swear I hear singing! I look down, and there
is a lil tiny flower flash mob gathering at my feet...... I listen
really hard and hear----

One eyed Punk Skunk (top) Sadly did not make it, but his siblings are happy happy fat and sassy!
This just hit me and cracked me up. If you are medical, maybe you will grin too.
Spike is back this year, and he is going to be a minimum of a 4 or 6 point so far, from what he looks like in Velvet. I need to get a pic of him, but it's gonna be tough. He is getting wary and scarce- which is EXCELLENT!
Guys- I'm just flat out HAPPY.
Life is Great, my attitude is excellent.
Health is better right now- no complaints and all in all.
