BEAVER ALERT!
Now that I have your attention- this Groundhog- (that I
call Land Beavers) is freeloading and living inside my Chicken House!
They are so elusive, this is one of the few times I've ever seen him out, especially in the middle of the day.
Sorry for the lack of focus- this was an instant shot, through glass about 75 yards away! It's really hard to tell his size, but I would guess this critter weighs around 20-25 lbs. It's way bigger and more solid than a large house cat.

Land beaver. That's a new one on me! We have plenty of the water variety around here.

Except on TV (with Wally), I've never seen a beaver. Dang, I didn't know they grow that big.
