SPACE SHUTTLE CHALLENGES
SEEING THE SPACE SHUTTLE RETIRED KINDA SADDENED ME, AND YET IT ALSO SIGNIFIES ANOTHER GREAT TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT BEING PHASED OUT. I SEE A LOT OF MONEY THAT CAN BE USED RIGHT HERE ON TERRA FIRMA.
I SEE DREAMS OF 1,000'S OF KIDS WHO SAY, "I WANNA BE AN ASTRONAUT WHEN I GROW UP", BEING REDEFINED!
SINCE I'M SO LAZY I WANT YOU SINGING "GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR TOM", BY DAVID BOWIE AS YOU LOOK AT THIS PICTORIAL.
I SEE THE FORM AND THE FUNCTION OF THE SHIP MIMICKED HERE IN NATURE, AS THIS DRAGONFLY WAS KILLED BY IT'S OWN HOUSE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT DEFECT STOPPED THIS FULL GROWN DRAGONFLY FROM BREAKING THE LAST BONDS OF IT'S HOME, INCUBATOR AND PROTECTOR FOR ALL THOSE MANY MONTHS.
HOW SAD, IRONIC, BEAUTIFUL, GRUESOME.
I'LL LET YOU PONDER ON HOW OUR FATE HANGS IN THE BALANCE EACH AND EVERY DAY WE LIVE, AND WHAT A BLESSING THAT SAID DAY MIGHT BRING!
WHAT SURPRISES WILL THIS DAY BRING FOR YOU. SEE WITH NEW EYES TODAY. EYES FULL OF GRATEFULNESS AT THE CREATION WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN STEWARDSHIP OVER!

ReplyDeleteI agree - our future may be in space but there are plenty of problems to solve right here. And I always had to wonder if it wasn't sending stuff into outer space that was punching those holes in the ozone.
No one is interested in solving this planets problems because if we are ever going to get the wealthy off we have to rape every resource necessary for them to survive, Why do you think they are buying the government...to run the system, hell no just to continue to steal our common resource at will and dump more chemical waste on the earth. Fools. If the Dragon fly would have stopped his natural desire to be free for a minute and stated to try to move its mandibles he might have found his freedom, that is our problem too they have us so split up we forget we can eat them in a moment of time.
