I NEED A NEW CAMERA!

I NEED A NEW CAMERA!

I finally need a new camera. My old one was a 6 megapixel bare bones Samsung.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't think I want to go 800.00 PLUS for the Nice Digital Cannon series, although I'd love to change lenses again BUTTTTTTTTTT
I'm thinking of the Point and shoot Cannon's around 300- 450.00. Or would it be better to pony up and wait and get the Big Boy?

I am not a professional, and I think the PowerShot SX30IS 14.5 with 35 x Optical for 399.00, would do the trick. Plus it would keep me from getting in the snake's and bugs FACES!!!!! I just want a decent Camera for the Blog etc.

Any feedback would be helpful...I don't know how many times in the last 3 days I've reached for that little bugger to take with me, only to remember it is DOA!

WISH I HAD TAKEN A PICTURE OF IT!!!!!!

  2. Nice photos my friend!
A nice point and shoot is great. The best thing is that they fit into your pocket. I ALWAYS carry mine around with me. Pretty much all of the Nikons and Canons are great.

  5. I know nothing about cameras so I am no help to you. I like the idea of a good camera but learning to use it would be tedious for me.

  6. Well, I'm not much of a photographer and just use a plain ole point and shoot (a Sony Cybershot).

I think it takes decent photos, though. They don't always looks so great on my blog, but if you go to the trouble to click on them to enlarge them you can see that they're pretty good.

  7. I use a Canon powershot and that is good enough for what I use it for.

Hummm, I'm thinking about using my Alice Through the Lens blog again, but there is so much going on in my life right now.
Thank you for the best wishes!

I know nothing about cameras but just bought a cheapy bright pink (of course you'd need a more manly color) 14 megapixel Sanyo.
