NEW CAMERA!!!
Oh yes--I gots me one. Went to Tar-jay and they didn't have the Cannon I wanted, but I looked at the Nikon Coolpix P500. Me like-Me got.
Went back out and my car wouldn't start. I sat in parking lot with the hood up and jumper cables hanging out the front, and it was 35 minutes before anyone asked if I needed a jump. This just doesn't happen in Lexington SC!
Shows that times they are a changing! Started to take camera back as I immediately got Buyers Remorse, and was worried about repairs to the car. Turned out all I needed was a Battery!
So here are the first pics with the new Nikon taken at 2:30 am, without a clue as to how to work it in the dark!
I'll try it tomorrow-and see, but I may go back and get the Cannon I really wanted. I had a gift certificate to Target and this store was out of them even though it said they were in stock on the Web page! Turns out- I wouldn't have been able to get to the store that had 3 in stock, due to dead car! So we'll see how it turns out!
ZOOM ZOOM!
Getting used to the zoom was tough.
Full Moon-should be cool!
The auto-focus and Zoom were much harder to use than I thought, compared to my little Samsung. The Lunar Rover and the Flag are just to the left of that big Crater!
Blue Moon. I saw her standing ........
YES! I had to find a Spider--duh! And It was dark, dark out by the old shed!
Leaf it to me to take a pic of a bush in the dark.... well at least the flash works!
and I HOPE, it takes good pics when I can see the controls and get used to all the bells and whistles!
LOVE YOU ALL!

ReplyDeleteCool moon pics - I never thought to shoot the moon.
ReplyDeleteWow! The moon shots are especially amazing.
ReplyDeleteKelly-- Thanks--I did much better with it in daylight--I still don't know 1/2 the features. I edit in Picassa. I have Photoshop loaded, but don't know how to use it that well.

RK- Thanks so much--it was weird as the camera kept-"Tracking it" and I had to chase it down. Really weird effect! But Thanks for the compliment!
