Happiest call ever- delivering the First of my 7 in home, or Ambulance delivery babies. The mother said she was going to name him after me. The name finally given to the precious child. ALPHA OMEGA WARD. I promise. I asked her why, and I swear she said- because he is the first and last!

I will never forget the incredible feeling when that new life cried!

Saddest/ Hardest call ever- The First time I handed a distraught mother her child, who had died of apparent SIDS: 

meeting her eyes with tears, I could not speak but only shake my head- and then just holding her with both of us sobbing.

PS: (It NEVER got any easier.)

Life is so fragile. Please people, why can't we all just get along?

 Can't sleep. Gonna go fry an egg. Not gonna eat it, I just like to randomly remind them who is boss!

I mean- they are all sitting there time after time when I open the door. I rarely eat them so they get snug, complacent, almost mocking me. So at random times-I snatch one up-fry it, and the popping and screaming shakes the other ones to the yolk!

 Notes from the JOHN: Went to the bank the other day and withdrew $100.00. Teller said what Denomination.
I said Bapticostal. She said what is that? I said when I praise God I can only raise one hand!
I got all ones! So I took that as a sign and went to a Strip Club to save the lost!
I didn't say I was good at it!

  I just invented something:  PAY IT BACKKWARDS



It has worked 8/10 times already- here's how it works...Pick a cheerful drive through Window employee- Pull up and when Blonde Bubbly says $14.69, you say just as cherfully, 
"OMG, can you believe it!"- 

Believe what she says? Smiling really big now!

"This is my lucky day- the person behind me just paid it BACKWARDS."

- Paid it backwards she asks??  Eyes Wide Shut....
 See where this is going do ya???".


"YES! HE SAID HE IS GOING TO PAY FOR MY ENTIRE MEAL!!!"   She is sooo Happy by Now...
 
When she cheerfully says, Yay for you! Pull off fast and don't look back~~~~ I don't know how many times I can use this before it catches on in my town!

If today's fun and company is any indication of my year to come: I am in for a banner year. Hopefully by the end of the year, I will have a banner. Of some kind. It will be a modest banner as banners go, but the satisfaction of the banner will be immeasurable.
