NC BOUND?

NC BOUND?

AFTER MOVING FROM PLANT CITY, FL. TO LEXINGTON SC IN 1972, I HAVE LIVED HERE THE PAST 40+ YEARS.

I AM NOW THINKING ABOUT BUYING SOME LAND WITH A SMALL HOUSE ON IT IN NC. ABOVE BOONE AND A LITTLE TO THE EAST- IN WEST JEFFERSON AND MORE SPECIALLY: MILLERS CREEK.!

THIS IS 3.5 ACRES WITH A 2-1/2 BEDROOM 1 BATH HOUSE THAT WAS BUILT IN 1954 AND ADJOINS MY SISTERS PROPERTY.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT! AND THE TIMING IS PERFECT!

THIS WAS THE REASON FOR THIS SIGN ON MY LAST POST. IT IS NEAR CHICKEN HOUSES AND CATTLE FARMS AND SMELLS LIKE THE COUNTRY LIVING I WAS RAISED AROUND MY FIRST 18 YEARS IN FLORIDA. THERE IS SOMETHING PULLING ME BACK TO THE BASICS AND BACK TO MY ROOTS AS I GET READY FOR THE HOME STRETCH OF LIFE.

I HAVE NO PLANS TO GO SOON, BUT I DON'T WANT THE REST OF MY DAYS TO BE SPENT IN, AND WITH REGRET!

I CHOOSE HOPE, POSITIVENESS (?WORD), AND I TRULY BELIEVE THAT THIS MOVE WILL ACTUALLY EXTEND MY LIFE AS WELL AS THE QUALITY OF IT!

WINTER DAMAGE TO SKIN

INSTEAD OF STAYING HERE ON MY OWN, I CHOOSE TO MOVE UP CLOSE TO FAMILY AND LIVE OUT MY LIFE IN FULLNESS AND WITH ALL THE JOY I CAN. I CHOOSE TO BE PUSHED AROUND IN ONE OF THESE,
INSTEAD OF A WHEELCHAIR, AS I TEND MY LAND, WATCH MY DEER, AND WATCH THEM EAT ALL OF MY VEGETABLE GARDEN, AS I HEAR THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS ON THIS PROPERTY!

HOW COOL IS THAT?

ALSO, THIS TREE FULL OF BATS ALLOWED ME TO SEE ANOTHER VALUABLE LESSON......

OK, SO IT'S NOT BATS, BUT LEAVES... JUST USE YOUR IMAGINATION HERE....AND THAT MEANS I SHOULD LEAVE HERE, TAKE UP MY ROOTS, BRANCH OUT AND TAP INTO ANOTHER AREA! HOPE I'M NOT BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE, BUT I ALREADY FEEL A PEACE AND JOY ABOUT THE ENTIRE SITUATION!

A GLIMPSE OF MY NEW PROPERTY!

THE OLD CHICKEN COOP BUILDING IS MINE TOO. TIME TO TEAR IT DOWN AND RECYCLE ALL THE OLD WOOD AND CEMENT BLOCKS! (IT'S GETTING VERY UNSAFE!)

ACTUALLY, THIS IS CAROLE'S PLACE TO STAY WHEN SHE VISITS!

LOVE TO ALL!

  1. What a gorgeous place to live! I'm jealous. We could do with exactly that. We can't afford what's for sale around here - all the Blackberry execs buy up acreage and put up mansions. sigh

  5. That is awesome John! Congratulations to you! It looks good right now and when all those trees fill out with leaves, it's going to be beautiful!

  6. Thanks Pat- and it does look totally different in the Summer. Almost hidden. I love the Air up there! The Door is perpetually open my friend!

  7. Congratulations, John. That's very exciting, especially the part about animalistic outdoor sex.

Lots of love and well wishes to you.
