NEW MEAT?

NEW MEAT?

THE JOURNEY INTO THIS NEW PHASE OF MY LIFE IS EFFECTING CHANGE IN MANY AREAS. ONE OF THEM IS MY BLOGGING. UNLESS MY POSTS, WORDS AND PICTURES,  MAKE YOU SAY, WTF, CAUSE A BELLY LAUGH, OR OUTRIGHT HEAD SCRATCHING, THEN I'M NOT EVOLVING, GROWING, NOR DOING WHAT I AM CALLED TO DO.

SO, LOOK FOR DEEPER, HARDER, MORE PENETRATING MATERIAL--

NO --NOT PORN RIOT KITTY !!!!!

BUT MAYBE A LITTLE MORE SUBSTANCE, OR MEAT AS THEY SAY.

WHEN WILL I START?

YOU TELL ME!

MEDS NOT MINE- ALTHOUGH I'M CERTAINLY NOT INNOCENT IN THIS AREA--
I DON'T EXPERIMENT WITH DRUGS EITHER:

I KNOW WHICH ONES I LIKEY!
THANK YOU MR CARLIN

HAVING A ROUGH DAY, WEEK, MONTH, LIFE?--JUST DRIVE THROUGH THE PILL MILL AND MEDICATE THE PROBLEM AWAY! DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO FACE, SOLVE, ADMIT, OR ACKNOWLEDGE THERE MAY BE PROBLEM--

JUST TREAT THE SYMPTOMS.

PROBLEM SOLVING AND INTROSPECTION ARE WORK! WHY DO THAT?

MEDS ARE NOT INHERENTLY BAD! THE JUDICIOUS USE OF THEM HOWEVER, HAS/IS, GONE/GOING BY THE WAYSIDE. I SERVED IN THE MEDICAL FIELD FOR 30 YEARS AND KNOW HOW BENEFICIAL, NECESSARY, AND LIFE SAVING THEY CAN BE. I HAVE ALSO SEEN THEM

DESTROY!

HOW OFTEN DO WE TRULY SEARCH DEEP INSIDE FOR POTENTIAL PITFALLS IN OUR LIVES? BRUTALLY HONEST TRUTHS? LIES, PAIN AND MEMORIES WE'VE LONG SINCE BURIED ONLY TO HAVE THEM POP UP DISQUISED AS DISEASE, ILLNESS OR EVEN WHAT WE MAY CONSIDER STRENGTHS?

WHAT IS YOU HEALTH-O-METER MEASURING STICK?

DO YOU HAVE A SOURCE TO DEAL WITH POTENTIALLY UNCOVERED SKELETON'S?

ONE THING I'VE FOUND OUT TO BE 100% TRUE IN MY LIFE IS THAT REGARDLESS OF OUR PRESENT DAY ISOLATIONISM, WE
NEED EACH OTHER!!!

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

  1. I didn't recognize any of the pills ...ergo none of them are in my regimen of the past pushing pills back. It's OK John we know SC was a major hemp producer, which precludes the proclivity for pill pushing.

You say Isolation like that is a bad thing?

  2. I avoid taking any pills, I try to let my body and soul heal itself, but I do know there are times when we need them. :)

  3. Mark-- I think Grocery stores should say, Paper, Plastic or Hemp. Isolation to the exclusion of any real contact I think can be bad. Iron sharpens Iron, and people like my true Blogger Friends, just like you--challenge me to be better, get me pissed off, CHALLENGE me to think- and say no way or YES, that's it: Does that make any sense. I am perfectly happy behind my closed doors most of the time. But I do recognize the need for more socialism--errrr- socialization on MY PART. (Try the pale green Horseman!)!

    Thanks Buddy

Joey-- what an idiot! JUST KIDDING. What an excellent approach. But a Rockin DJ that doesn't put Roofies in drinks and dispense Ecstasy? I don't know if I want you at my Bar Mitzvah--LOL! I appreciate you my Friend.

  4. Great post, John and very thought provoking. Asthmatic, arthritic and suffering with chronic regional pain syndrome I find myself taking more pills than I'd like. The ridiculous thing being its now getting to the stage where I'm going to need more pills because of the side effects of the pills I'm already prescribed.

  5. Tracy--that kind of medicating is totally valid--I'm so sorry about the new meds for side effects part. As if you aren't fighting enough already! Prayers going up my Friend!
Ohhhh- you just gave me a neat saying re: this

Take what you need, but need what you take! Not in your case, but I think you know what I mean. We see sooo many abusers here that it makes it difficult for the ones who truly need it, and I know you do!

  6. I take some natural supplements - vitamins and the like - and my pain pills. Funny, I'm in less pain than before but take the pain pills more often. Why? because they work now and funny enough, I don't suffer as much from the negative side effects. And yet, I am drinking far less now because the effects aren't as pleasant as they used to be - no, I don't mix the two.

  9. I've seen pills destroy a lot of lives. A LOT.
I avoid them and thank heavens I'm healthy.
Introspection is hard work and so is socialization for the introverted types (like me).
    BUT- I agree, blogging helps!!!
Love you too John!!! Keep on keeping on.
