A BLUE MONDAY IS LEAVING THIS BEAUTIFUL LAKE IN NC!!!
&
DRIVING HOME IN BLINDING RAIN AFTER SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND WITH MY SISTER AND B.I.L. ON LAKE KERR RESERVOIR AND DAMN IN WILKES COUNTY NC!

I AM SO BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO SEE NATURE LIKE THIS WITH PEOPLE I LOVE. IT'S THESE LITTLE THINGS THAT ARE SO IMPORTANT. I'LL BE BACK UP THIS NEXT WEEKEND TOO FOR MY NIECE'S WEDDING!

  6. LOVE, LOVE your post today, John!!! Love seeing what kinds of worms you have. (I have worms, too, you know....) Interesting to see you use split shot for worm fishing. I use the little bullet weights for that. Come to my blog and see what I caught last week!

    Kelly-- LOL--Those were my Sis and B.I.L's! I never used slip shot as they really aren't weedless-- mine had the bullet weight. Interesting-- they caught fish and I didn't. Wonder if it was the split-shot? Usually it was about 3 inches up the line and did give a different presentation--they fished slower and almost totally on the bottom. It was different from down here I tell ya!

    I use a Green and Chartreuse, as well as a Moccasin color, and they use "Cotton-Candy and Motor-oil Colors." I'll be right by!
